Following their plenary talks, the speakers came together for an engaging Plenary Forum: “Innovations in Healthcare: Translating Research into Accessible Healthcare for Sustainable Communities”

The forum was moderated by Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Izuddin Fahmy Abu of UniKL MESTECH, guiding a multidisciplinary conversation that brought together perspectives from clinical and biomedical research, drug discovery, occupational safety and planetary health.

The discussion explored a central challenge in healthcare innovation: Moving excellent research beyond laboratories and publications to create real-world solutions that are accessible, meaningful and sustainable.
