Strengthening Industry–Academia Connection: From Collaboration to Impact 🤝✨

Strong partnerships are built through shared commitment, trust, and meaningful engagement.

The collaboration between UniKL MESTECH and PEPS-JV began in 2025 through a Final Year Project involving our Bachelor of Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) student, Dinie Safiyya binti Habibur Rahman Khan. This initial collaboration has continued to grow, creating more opportunities for industry exposure and professional development.

In 2026, the partnership was further strengthened when our BOSH student, Muhammad Nazhif bin Suhardi, joined PEPS-JV as an intern, gaining valuable hands-on experience and insight into the industry environment.

On 15 July 2026, UniKL MESTECH and PEPS-JV continued this journey through a meaningful discussion to explore a potential Health Screening Programme, further enhancing the connection between academia and industry through knowledge sharing, expertise exchange, and community impact.

The discussion was attended by representatives from UniKL MESTECH: Ts Dr Noor Arniwati (Head of Research and Innovation Section), Dr Azimah (Head of International Linkages), Ts Teh Rasyidah (Head of Technical Foundation), and Mrs Nurfaiza (OSHE Staff), together with Mr Najmuddin (HSE Manager, PEPS-JV) and Mr Muhammad Nazhif (UniKL MESTECH Intern at PEPS-JV).

A sincere appreciation to the PEPS-JV management and team for your trust and continuous support in strengthening industry–academia collaboration.
