Mabuhay from Manila! 🇵🇭
UTAR ASHRAE Student Branch was honoured to be part of the 29th ASHRAE Region XIII Chapters Regional Conference (CRC 2026), held on 14–15 August 2026 in Manila, Philippines.
The conference brought together ASHRAE student branches and members from across the region for two meaningful days of learning, industry exposure and cultural exchange. From exploring De La Salle University’s LEED Silver-certified Green Campus 🌿 and learning about climate resilience, to gaining insights into HVAC manufacturing and testing at Koppel Inc. 🏭, every experience offered a different perspective on the industry. We also had the opportunity to learn from 2026/27 ASHRAE President Ms. Sarah E. Maston and regional experts through the keynote and technical sessions, while connecting with fellow delegates through games, conversations and the Grand Banquet 🎉. Beyond the technical knowledge, CRC 2026 gave us the chance to build new connections, exchange ideas and create memories with fellow ASHRAE members from across Region XIII. 🌏
A heartfelt thank you to the organisers and all the regional chapters for making this experience possible, and to ASHRAE Malaysia Chapter, ASHRAE UM Student Branch and ASHRAE UTeM Student Branch for the support and collaboration 🤍. Having the opportunity to represent Malaysia together made the experience even more meaningful. 🇲🇾
