One little artist. Three moments that tell her story. 🎨

Her very first piece with us — a mouse, drawn in loose, careful lines.

Months later, a scene about the story behind the Mooncake Festival — colours bolder now, figures holding their shape.

A year on — her Batik Show piece, where the main character truly stands out, and the whole composition finally holds together.

Same little hands. What grew wasn't just skill — it was her ability to see, and build, a complete picture.

一个小小艺术家。三个瞬间，讲完她的成长故事。

她加入我们的第一幅画——线条还有些凌乱、小心翼翼画出来的一只老鼠。

几个月后，一幅关于中秋节由来的画作——用色明显更大胆，人物的线条也更工整了。

一年后——她的 Batik 时装秀作品，主角人物突出，整体构图第一次变得完整。

同一双小手，成长的不只是技巧，是她「看见」并「构建」一幅完整画面的能力。

In class, we have a little habit we've kept for years:
when a child finishes drawing, we don't comment first. We ask —
"Tell me, what's happening here?" 🌱
After a story about frogs, the little artist filled his paper with mosquitoes and flies. His said:
"The frog prince in the story was too lazy to catch mosquitoes. So I'm giving my frogs lots and lots of food — I want them to be hardworking frogs."
He wasn't just drawing a scene — he was fixing the story's problem in his own way.
And that's where our teaching begins: we listen to the idea first, then guide it further — composition, colours, little techniques that help his story stand out clearly and beautifully on paper.
Imagination leads. Skills follow. The artwork? That's the child's idea — said out loud. 🎨
课堂上有个小习惯，我们坚持了很多年：
孩子画完，老师不先评价，先问一句——
「跟老师说说，这里发生了什么事？」
听完关于青蛙的主题故事，小朋友开始在纸上画满了蚊子和苍蝇。他说：
「故事里的青蛙王子太懒惰了，都不吃蚊子。我要给我的青蛙们准备很多很多食物——我要它们做勤劳的青蛙。」
他不只是在画一幅画，他是在用自己的方式，把故事里的问题解决掉。
而我们的教学，正是从这里开始：先听懂孩子的想法，再一步步引导——构图、用色、小技巧，让他的故事在纸上说得更清楚，也更好看。
想象力先行，技巧跟上。
最后的作品，就是孩子的想法，被大声说了出来。🎨

我们的工作不是纠正这些决定，是保护它们，然后给它们更好的表达工具。

This little artist is 6. Nobody told her what colour the sky "should" be —
