Kinder 1 trip to Petronas Science centre

🌟✨ Exciting Adventures at Petronas! 🚀🌍

Over the past few weeks, our little explorers have been diving into the fascinating world of ‘Spaces’—discovering both nonfiction and fiction stories about Earth, other planets, rockets, spacecraft, and astronauts. To bring these stories to life, we decided a visit to Petronas would be a fantastic experience for the children, and we were absolutely right!
From engaging with the friendly robot to participating in the hands-on scientific activities on display, the kids had a blast exploring and learning. It was truly a joy to see their faces light up with curiosity and excitement.
I think it's safe to say we all had a wonderful adventure together, filled with laughter and discovery! 🌌✨

Check out some of the amazing moments we captured during our trip! 📸

Pre Primary 2026
🌿Herb Garden trip

Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, our Pre-Primary children embarked on a journey of wonder and discovery at the 🪴Herb Garden, where the environment acted as our third teacher.
Driven by their natural curiosity, the children engaged in hands-on, experiential learning - discovering how strong rope can be made from the fibre of
banana plant and learning how to sow seeds, nurturing an understanding of care, responsibility, and respect for living things. The gardener provoked further inquiry by introducing the concept of
hydroponics, showing the children that there are many languages and possibilities for how plants can grow and thrive, even in just water💦
Back at school, this curiosity continued in our own playground herb garden. As capable researchers and investigators, the children used their magic battery operated magnifier as a tool for deeper observation - to examine the delicate veins of the 🌿leaves and to wonder together about how water and nutrients travel through a plant. This close observation made their learning visible and allowed them to make meaningful connections between the wider world and their own little garden.

Rainbow Kindergarten July 2026
Highlights from the last few weeks—faces blurred for privacy. What a busy, fun time the children had! They began with a mind map to decide what they wanted to learn about “food”, then moved on to science and light, exploring how colours change and experimenting with water painting. Lots of creative making, curious discovery, and independent learning—what a great way to grow young minds!

All in favor of recognizing that parroting information is not the same thing as deep learning say “I.” ✋🏻✋🏼✋🏽✋🏿

PP/ K1 Class Children.
2026 Preprimary trip to Linear Park. Mrs. Yana.

A delightful trip to Linear Park with our Pre-Primary class! 🌿✨ The children enjoyed beautiful weather and moments filled with curiosity and joy. With magnifying glasses in hand 🔍🌱, they explored the fascinating world of seeds and leaves, observing their shapes, textures, and structures up close. This hands-on experience sparked thoughtful questions about how plants grow and how nature works, reminding us all that even the smallest seeds can grow into something remarkable. They also examined a wooden log, discussing its size, growth patterns, and age 🌳. A wonderful way to connect with the natural world. To conclude the day, the children drew their own maps 🗺️, revisiting and reflecting on all they had learned. A meaningful day of discovery, exploration.

When they returned to their classroom, their learning continued as they sorted their treasure into sets of sameness, colour, and texture, working as a team. These recyclable materials will be used for further projects. 🌍♻️
