A delightful trip to Linear Park with our Pre-Primary class! 🌿✨ The children enjoyed beautiful weather and moments filled with curiosity and joy. With magnifying glasses in hand 🔍🌱, they explored the fascinating world of seeds and leaves, observing their shapes, textures, and structures up close. This hands-on experience sparked thoughtful questions about how plants grow and how nature works, reminding us all that even the smallest seeds can grow into something remarkable. They also examined a wooden log, discussing its size, growth patterns, and age 🌳. A wonderful way to connect with the natural world. To conclude the day, the children drew their own maps 🗺️, revisiting and reflecting on all they had learned. A meaningful day of discovery, exploration.

When they returned to their classroom, their learning continued as they sorted their treasure into sets of sameness, colour, and texture, working as a team. These recyclable materials will be used for further projects. 🌍♻️

Earth Week Celebration – Kinder Nursery Class
🌍💚
We celebrated our wonderful world by getting outside and getting our hands a little dirty! Our kindergartener’s loved being "nature helpers" as they explored the garden, feeling different textures of leaves and smelling the sweet flowers.
​We had some very curious explorers today! Sofea looked up and asked, "Teacher! Why is this big tree here at the playground?" We learned that trees are like giant umbrellas, covering us and our friends to keep us safe from the hot sun. ☀️🌳
​Then, Hayder spotted something interesting on the ground: "Teacher, what are the little brown things in the dirt?" We took a closer look and discovered it was actually worm poo! It might look funny, but we learned it’s like "vitamins" for the Earth that helps the plants grow strong. 🪱✨
​To finish our lesson, we gave the thirsty plants a big drink with our watering cans and drew a giant Earth right on the playground. It was such a beautiful day to grow, play, and learn together! 🌷💦🖍️

Earth Week Celebration – Kinder 1

Our Kinder 1 learners celebrated Earth Day with joy today. 🌍💚

They were very proud to show off their Earth Day headbands that they made, and they had lots of fun colouring them, along with their “Happy Earth Day” sheets. 🎨✨ The children were very enthusiastic about watering all our plants and our newly planted trees in the playground. They showed great care and teamwork as they helped tend the greenery. 💧🌳 Their creativity shone and their smiles grew as they looked forward to caring for their class plants and learning about taking responsibility. They enjoyed every moment of the activity! 🌱🌈 Thank you to every parent for encouraging curiosity and stewardship for our planet. Happy Earth Week!

🌍 Happy Earth Day!
Preprimary Class

Today, our little ones became true protectors of the planet! The children spent the day learning the importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling through plenty of hands-on fun. They loved colouring their Earth Day headbands before heading outside to collect dry leaves, twigs, and litter, carefully sorting everything into the correct bins. 🍃♻️

We took our love for nature a step further by planting a new tree in our playground, creating a living legacy that the children can watch grow for years to come. They also spent time exploring our beautiful new nature wall and visiting our fish! By learning to give the fish just the right amount of food, they practiced the gentle art of caring for living things. 🌳🐟💚

It was a meaningful day filled with laughter, discovery, and a whole lot of love for our wonderful world! 🌱✨
