Year 2020 started off rough with the COVID-19 pandemic and as scouts, we would like to thank all FRONTLINERS who worked 24/7 to flatten the COVID curve in our country. Although all curricular activities had been halted, that does not stop Pengakap Laut 16 from being active this year. We hope that all of this will be over as soon as possible.

Kami mengucapkan Selamat Hari Deepavali kepada seluruh ahli pengakap seluruh Malaysia terutamanya kepada mereka yang beragama Hindu. Semoga cahaya yang melambangkan Perayaan Deepavali ini akan turut menyinari nilai-nilai yang mengukuhkan perhubungan dan kebersatuan kita semua.

Perhimpunan Pengakap Kebangsaan kali keempat (4th National Seaboree) bakal berlangsung di Kelab Tasik Putrajaya & Pangkalan Polis Marin Putrajaya, Presint 8, Wilayah Persekutuan Putrajaya pada 22-25 November 2019 dan terbuka hanya kepada 500 orang ahli Pengakap Laut.

Pelbagai aktiviti menarik bakal disajikan kepada peserta. Jangan lepaskan peluang dan jumpa di sana!

Thanks to all of the members who joined in this platoon. It was a big success and a historical moment for Pengakap Laut 16. All of the members give full commitment and did their best. Thanks to Chooi Je Qin as the commander of the platoon for leading this platoon successfully. Without all of the members, we wouldn't be able to made it. Bronze for this year and we aim for a better result next year.

Two members from Pengakap Laut 16 SSIJB had went to Samila Beach, Songkhla, Thailand from 16 June 2019 to 20 June 2019 for a 5 days 4 nights camp organized by The ministry of education of Thailand.This camp was about learning scouting skills and getting to know the Thai culture.Our members had experienced some scouting activities varying from knots, gadgets, team building, water activities and much more.It was an precious and valuable opportunity for them to participate in this camp and it was an unforgettable moments for them too.🎉 @ Samila Beach Thailand
