Good morning peeps!
Have you ever heard of the phrase, horse have five 'hearts'?
Horses, like other mammals, have only one heart. However, the frog in each hoof acts like a pump to push blood back up the leg with each step a horse takes. The frog also acts as a shock absorber. Of course, this is when the hooves are in a natural barefoot state. When the hoof is set down on the ground, it expands and fills with blood. When it is picked up, it contracts and the blood is sent back up the hoof to the heart. Roughly a liter of blood is pumped through the body every twenty strides. Hence, each hoof is a ‘heart’ giving a horse five hearts.

Good morning peeps!
Did you know, Arabian Horses are different than most horse breeds because of their unique head shape, skeletal structure, and overall size.
Most Arabian Horses are born with one less rib, lumbar vertebrae, and tail bone. Arabian horses have 17 ribs instead of the usual 18 ribs found in other horse breeds. This skeletal difference accounts for their shorter lengths. The higher tail set in Arabian horses is attributed to the missing tail bone.
Arabian Horses might have lesser bones, but they have an incredibly high bone density which promotes their physicality and masculine nature. Because of this, their strength when compared to larger, taller animals, is similar.
