📮✉️ A Special Delivery from Our K1 Children! ✉️📮

Today, our K1 children embarked on an exciting real-world learning adventure to the post office! After carefully handwriting heartfelt letters to their parents, they had the opportunity to post them themselves and begin their journey home through the postal system. 📨🏠

Along the way, the children discovered the purpose of stamps, learned how letters travel from one place to another, and gained a deeper understanding of how people stay connected through written communication.

This meaningful experience helped the children:

🧠 Develop their understanding of how the postal system works and how messages are delivered from sender to recipient.
💪 Practise patience, responsibility, and independence while completing a real-life task.
❤️ Express their thoughts and feelings through handwritten letters, strengthening their bond with their parents.
🌍 Appreciate the important role community services play in our daily lives and how people work together to help us stay connected.

Happy Father’s Day from our Pre-Nursery little hands! 💛🌟

Our Tadika Sri Manja Pre-Nursery children lovingly created their own Father’s Day greeting cards using crepe papers and printed papers. Through tearing, crumpling, pasting, and decorating, our little ones explored creativity while strengthening their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

This meaningful activity supports whole-child development as children practiced patience and perseverance, learned about shapes, colours, textures, and spatial arrangement, expressed love and appreciation for Daddy, and developed a thankful heart through the joy of giving.

Every card may look simple, but behind it is a child’s effort, focus, and heartfelt love for their father. 💙

💙👨‍👧‍👦 A Heartfelt Father's Day Creation by Our Nursery Children! 👨‍👦💙

Our little learners at Tadika Sri Manja had a wonderful time creating special Father's Day greeting cards using flower-shaped coloured papers, a yellow heart-shaped message card, ice-cream sticks, googly eyes, black paper moustaches and hats, and tiny bows. With careful hands and creative minds, each child designed a unique keepsake filled with love for Daddy!

Beyond making a beautiful card, this hands-on activity supported holistic development:

🌟 Children practised perseverance, patience, and problem-solving as they assembled different pieces and worked through each step of the craft.
🧠 They strengthened fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, concentration, creativity, and spatial awareness while arranging and decorating their cards.
❤️ The activity provided opportunities for children to express gratitude, love, and appreciation for their fathers, helping them understand and communicate their feelings.
✨ It also nurtured values such as kindness, thankfulness, respect, and the importance of family relationships.

Happy Father’s Day from our K1 & K2 children at Tadika Sri Manja! 💙👔

Our little ones poured their love, creativity, and effort into making their very own Father’s Day greeting cards. From colouring and cutting to pasting curly paper hair and decorating each card, every step became a meaningful learning experience.

This activity helped children strengthen their thinking skills through planning, colour matching, shape recognition, and fine motor practice. It also encouraged patience, focus, and perseverance as they completed each detail carefully. Most importantly, the children learned to express love, gratitude, appreciation, and respect for their fathers and families.

🥚🔤 E is for Egg! 🔤🥚

Our Nursery children had a wonderful hands-on learning experience as they were introduced to the letter E! Using real eggshell pieces, they carefully pasted them onto the eggshell printed with the alphabet E, helping them connect the alphabet with a meaningful object — Egg. 🐣

This engaging activity helped children:

🧠 Strengthen letter recognition and vocabulary as they learned the letter E and its associated sound.
💪 Develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and concentration while carefully handling and placing the eggshell pieces.
❤️ Build patience, perseverance, and confidence as they completed their artwork independently.
🌿 Explore natural materials through sensory play, encouraging curiosity and appreciation of the world around them.

Using different shapes, they carefully designed and pasted their very own space shuttles, discovering how simple shapes can come together to create something amazing.

This hands-on activity helped children:
