Our K1 children explored the amazing life cycle of a chicken and learned that it takes about 21 days for a chick to develop inside an egg before hatching! 🌱➡️🐥

To reinforce their learning, the children created a special egg-themed cover by carefully pasting real eggshell pieces onto an egg shape. This hands-on activity helped them connect their learning to real-life experiences while strengthening their fine motor skills.

Our Pre-Nursery children had so much fun during water play as they squeezed, wrung, and explored water using sponges! 🧽✨

While it looked like simple play, this activity helped develop many important life skills:

🦋 From Tiny Eggs to Beautiful Butterflies! 🦋

Our K2 children at Tadika Sri Manja had an unforgettable hands-on learning experience exploring the amazing life cycle of a butterfly! 🌱✨

Using soft cotton balls as “eggs” and colourful pipe cleaners as “caterpillars,” the children creatively learned each stage of the butterfly’s transformation. The excitement grew even more when they witnessed the REAL butterfly life cycle right before their eyes — from tiny eggs, growing caterpillars, chrysalis, and finally beautiful butterflies emerging gracefully! 🐛➡️🦋

The most magical moment was releasing the butterflies back into nature, allowing the children to experience the beauty of life, growth, freedom, and care for living things. 🌍💛

This meaningful activity helped children develop patience and perseverance while observing the stages of growth. They strengthened their thinking and observation skills through hands-on scientific exploration, while also learning empathy, responsibility, and appreciation for living things. Our nursery children at Tadika Sri Manja explored the magical world of colours through hands-on learning! Working in pairs, they mixed two different primary colours using their palms to create beautiful secondary colours before stamping their colourful creations onto paper. 🌈✨

This fun sensory activity was more than just painting — it nurtured the whole child:

From Tiny Seeds to Tasty Greens 🌱🥬

Our K1 children at Tadika Sri Manja proudly harvested the green mustard they planted and cared for over the past few weeks. With great excitement, the children gently plucked the vegetables and passed them to their teachers before they were prepared by our kitchen helper for a delicious lunch. 🍲💚

This meaningful farm-to-table experience allowed the children to witness the full journey of food — from planting and nurturing to harvesting and eating. Along the way, they developed patience, responsibility, cooperation, curiosity, and appreciation for nature and healthy eating habits. 🌿

Our nursery children became little scientists and artists today as they explored the wonderful world of colours using playdough! 💛❤️💙
