Ngu Hie Ling from Penciler Studio. Since Penciler Studio first started up in Singapore in year 2000, we've been working closely with creative teams from global advertising agencies & design houses in Singapore / Malaysia for commercial art solutions. By providing professional concept drawing, storyboards art, character design, and illustration, we have helped advertising agencies launched their ad

vertising campaigns with high expectation visuals art and win clients of global brands. The success of Penciler Studio has inspired the establishment of Penciler Academy in 2016. We aim to deploy our studio's experiences in art training syllabus, and train our participants to think, and work as professionals commercial art practitioners. Located at the southern region of West Malaysia, We've chosen our location strategically at one of the hot-spots in Johor Bahru - Austin Height. Despite we are not the first of its kind, we stand to provide an uniquely designed syllabus, to ignite the potentials of art talents throughout the region.

“ 关于想学习速写的询问，过去我们并没有在这一块设计针对性的课程，主要原因是速写对绘画基本功的要求，可能甚至相较用数小时完成一张素描的技巧层面，更严苛。一般上的速写，视素材难度而定，从几分钟到30分钟+-, 从开始到完成，笔尖几乎不离开纸面，运用流畅的线条边画边观察，舍弃细腻的光影塑造，取而代之用轻重线表现光影两面，归纳，同时要求准确的比例,透视（风景乃至人像等）, 耗时较少而完成一张类似study sketch ，或者是画作前期准备工作的pre-sketch。因此在完成基础造型能力训练后，速写本的运用+速写能力的培养，将让画者/学员能够量化绘画练习，达到更大程度的成长。”
