๐ โFlexible Multi-Wideband Wearable Antenna for Preliminary Evaluation of Tumour Detection in Breast Phantom Modelโ
Published in Advanced Electromagnetics Journal (Indexed in Scopus and WoS ESCI, Impact Factor: 0.8)
๐ Summary:
This work presents a flexible wearable antenna for non-invasive breast tumour detection using microwave imaging. Operating at 2.4 GHz and wideband above 5 GHz, the antenna is fabricated on a breathable cotton substrate and integrated with an AMC array for improved gain and reduced back radiation. It demonstrates stable performance under bending, low SAR (0.23 W/kg), and effective tumour detection (2โ10 mm) using a realistic breast phantom model. The design highlights strong potential for safe, wearable biomedical diagnostics.
