Congratulations to Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Nadia Adrus for her outstanding performance at the RETASTE 2023: Rethink Food Resources, Losses and Waste Conference held in Athens, Greece from September 27th to 29th, 2023.

Her presentation, titled "Unlocking the Potential of Agricultural Waste in Malaysia for Sustainable Applications as Thin Films," focused on the extraction of fiber from various agricultural sources. These abundant resources have garnered significant attention as renewable sources for fiber extraction and subsequent utilization in film-forming formulations and electrospun mats.

Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Nadia Adrus, a distinguished lecturer within the Biopolymer Research Group, specializes in Functional/Smart Hydrogel, Advanced Membrane Functionalization, UV Curing, and Natural Fiber. Her expertise contributes greatly to the group's research endeavors.

The Biopolymer Research Group (BRG) extends a warm welcome to the distinguished visitors from the Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM). Among those present are Dr. Latifah Jasmani, Pn.
