Once you have determined the season of birth, you can now know whether your day master (the element at the top day column) is weak or strong.
In summer, generally fire will be strongest followed by Earth (because earth is produced by fire).
In winter, water is strongest followed by wood.
In autumn, metal is strongest followed by water.
In spring, wood is strongest, followed by fire.
All other elements in the different seasons which are not strong due to the season, will be deemed as weak.
So, are you a strong or weak daymaster?

Hi, I’m Elaine and I am a bazi enthusiast who has completed advance bazi courses in JY academy.
Once you have your bazi chart, the first thing you do is to determine the season of the chart. How do you do this? Look at the month branch (bottom box animal sign of the month). Once you know what animal sign that resides in the month branch, determine the season of birth according to the animal signs as below:
Spring: Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon
Summer: Snake, Horse, Goat
Autumn: Monkey, Rooster, Dog
Winter: Pig, Rat, Ox
Bazi refers to your birth chart which is derived from the date and time of birth. It has 4 columns and 8 boxes.
We can analyse the bazi chart to know more about ourselves (day master), our favourable or useful elements and our 10 year luck pillars outlook.
To plot your bazi chart, you can use any available free online softwares.
Our Bazi (Phat-Chee) chart represents the elements which appear when we were born. It has 4 columns, 8 boxes in total and it is derived based on the day of birth and time of birth. The top portion are the heavenly stems and the bottom portion, the earthy branches which are also represented by animal signs.
Where can you generate this chart?
There are many Bazi calculators online but these are a few that are popularly used:
