An art group is a membership organization, with the core mission to increase the public's enjoyment and understanding of visual art. Art group organise art exhibitions, public lectures on art, and initiate learning programmes for children and youth.

想和大家分享一个小小的感动。

Amanda 从 5岁开始学画,那时候她是一个很害羞、不太敢发言的女孩,画画时想象力也比较受限制。

如今 9岁的她进步非常明显。前天在讨论准备台湾比赛的作品主题时,她主动提议想画 [元宵节的故事],然后自己开始构思画面,把故事 一格一格画出来。在这些画面里,也可以看到她慢慢运用了 课堂上学过的绘画知识和表达方式。

看到她能够把自己的想法表达出来,老师真的很开心。

其实孩子在课堂上的表现,很多时候也和 家庭的陪伴与鼓励*有很大的关系。如果孩子平时多和家人一起外出看看世界,多被鼓励表达想法,少沉迷电子游戏,那么在 一周两小时的绘画课里,他们往往很容易把生活体验转化成创作灵感。

除了 Amanda,老师也发现 班上不少女孩最近都进步很多。看到孩子们慢慢成长,真的很欣慰。

很多家长不知道:美术老师最不该做的一件事
美术老师为什么不能插手孩子们的画?

在很多家长的认知里,一节“好的美术课”,似乎应该以一个漂亮的成品作为结果:线条整齐、颜色统一、构图完整,甚至每个孩子的画看起来都“差不多好看”。

但在真正的艺术教育中,这往往恰恰是一个危险的信号。因为当老师开始频繁地“动手改画”,孩子的创作就不再是孩子的,而是老师的。

这一次的创作,孩子们从马来西亚出版的《山海经》出发,
在古老的神话世界中,展开属于自己的想象旅程。

✨ 这是画室第一次尝试立体手作创作。
从草稿阶段的创意构思与结构思考,
到一步一步剪裁、组合、塑形,
孩子们展现了令人惊喜的创造力、空间结构能力,以及耐心与专注力。

最感动的,并不是作品完成的瞬间,
而是他们在过程中学会了——
🖐️ 把想象变成真实
🧠 把故事转化为结构
❤️ 用耐心与坚持完成一件作品

每一件立体手作,
都是孩子反复思考、勇于尝试后留下的成长印记,
也让我们看见——
🧡当想象力被尊重,创作便会自然发光。

For this project, the children drew inspiration from a Malaysia-published edition of The Classic of Mountains and Seas (Shan Hai Jing),
exploring an ancient mythical world while creating stories of their own.

✨ This was the studio’s **first hands-on 3D craft project**.
From initial sketches and structural planning,
to carefully cutting, assembling, and shaping their ideas,
the children demonstrated remarkable **creativity, structural thinking, patience, and focus**.

What truly moved us was not just the final artwork,
but the process itself—where they learned to:
🖐️ transform imagination into tangible form
🧠 turn stories into structure
❤️ complete their creations with patience and perseverance

Each 3D piece represents thoughtful exploration and repeated attempts,
a precious record of the children’s growth.
It reminds us that

💚when imagination is respected, creativity naturally shines.

今天的画室,很安静,也很美。

Junior Art 2 的大哥哥姐姐,
全程聚精会神,安静却有力量,
专注的神情,本身就很有气质。

Junior Art 1 的孩子们,
一笔一画都很认真、很细心,
不是被催促完成,
而是愿意慢慢把事情做好。

这一刻,老师真的很感动。
一路走来的坚持与栽培,没有白费。

我们始终相信,
画室最重要的不是作品有多漂亮,
而是孩子在这里学会的
专注、态度与内在的修养。

作品,会慢慢来。
但这些气质,会陪他们走很远。

The studio felt especially calm and beautiful today.

Our Junior Art 2 students worked with full focus and quiet confidence.
Their concentration spoke for itself — composed, attentive, and full of presence.

Our Junior Art 1 students were just as careful and dedicated,
taking their time with each line and detail,
not rushing to finish,
but learning to do things with care.

At moments like this, the teacher feels truly grateful.
All the effort and patience along the way have not been in vain.

At our studio, we believe that
art education is not only about creating good-looking artworks,
but about nurturing focus, attitude, and inner character.

Artworks can grow with time.
But these qualities will stay with them far beyond the studio.

When my spirit feels almost drained,

《Let Paintings Speak — Creation & Expression in Junior Art 2》

In Junior Art 2, we don’t just encourage children to complete a painting; we also guide them to clearly express their thoughts after creating it.
Learning to speak about their work is an important step for children to understand themselves, organise their ideas, and build confidence.

When they can tell us, *“Why did I paint it this way?”* and *“What do I want to express?”*
that moment turns the artwork from a simple picture into the voice of their growth.
