A story to share.....

Each an individual story from our kids light up our day. This will be one of them. Few weeks back, Caliph's mom shared a reel on Caliph. Looking at the reel, you are able to carry yourself well as a teenager with autism. We acknowledge that you are an autistic boy not because we labelled but because we want to celebrate the joy of seeing you grow even if you are different.

I still remember the day your mom wanted to enrolled you with us, she told us discovering Caliph is different makes her fall into slightly depressed and she said, "Memang masa itu I tak kuat, I tak boleh terima that my son is with this condition". I believe no parents can "terima" that. You have made it, Sarah Suhaimi, Trusting that Caliph is able to progress and grow baby steps each day with us. From a boy with minimal word & speech, needs a some behaviour modification, very little knowledge cognitively , not able to being expressed himself into someone with lots of sentences, sampai boleh cerita to us what happened at home, obedient, able to understand reasonings , able to follow primary syllabus and telling his feelings, sampai mengadu to the teachers..hahaha..

There you are, Caliph, breaking free from all obstacles and developing new skills each day making you to live in the society like one of us. Persistency of the parents in making their child finding the suitable center/school for their progress is solely important as a stepping stone for them to grow during their "golden age".

We are delighted and grateful to be part of this. May God bless Caliph! We miss you!

Concert Amal OKU 2025

We are so proud of you!

Being able to attend the concert is one of the most pleasurable activity of the year. No special words can describe how time can past so fast in a blink of eye. You are a grown adult now. Not only a grown adult, you are also a grown talented adult despite your disability.

Yes, Quek Lim has disability but that does not gave him an obstacles to learn music and played melodiously well. I still remembered that day that you sat on my lap when you were just 6 years old playing and learning some songs with the keyboard. There you are now....performing confidently on stage.

That has to be a great effort from your parents, family members as well. Although you were our previous student , your mom invited us for the concert as well. Yes, we do have contacted with most our ex students. We are so proud to have came across each unique lives and making at least some positive impact to their learning/growth.

We are not only proud, we are touched too!.
