Learning how to sing is not limited to understanding the proper vocal and breathing techniques but many more including music theory. By understanding the structure and form of the music you’re performing, you can access harmonic memory and recount large sections of music from memory. That also helps improve improvisational skills.
Rockschool Vocals Grade will not only improve your singing ability, but expand your technical proficiency, grasp of music theory and appreciation of some of the most influential songs from the past five decades. That concluded our April 2026 Exam session. This season we saw a good mixture from Piano, Violin, Alto Sax, Drums, Vocals, Electrical Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Ukulele and Classical Piano. Kudos to all candidates who courageously faced the challenge to be evaluated by music professional benchmark as part of their journey to success as musicians! So great to have Mr Oliver with us this season and we look forward to our next season in November 2026!
