Honoured to attend the 79th National Annual Dinner of the Technological Association Malaysia (TAM), held on 25th April 2026.

An inspiring evening filled with meaningful connections, industry fellowship, and shared aspirations towards advancing Malaysia’s engineering and technological landscape.

Grateful for the opportunity to represent Institution of Engineers Malaysia Perak Branch and to engage with fellow professionals, leaders, and innovators from across the nation.

We are honoured to have been invited to serve as judges for the UTAR FYP Poster Competition, organised by the UTAR IEM Student Section.

A team of five from the IEM Perak Branch Committee — Ir. Chee Zhi Yang, Ir. Cheong Wei Hao, Ir. Chang Yuh Sheng, Ir. Tang Seng Hoe, and Ir. TS. Darren Chin Woon Kheong — had the opportunity to participate in this meaningful event and witness the impressive efforts of UTAR students in presenting their Final Year Project work.

It was indeed a fruitful and encouraging experience to see student representatives from various engineering programmes stepping forward to share their ideas, technical knowledge, and innovative thinking. Events like this provide a valuable platform for students to build confidence, improve their presentation skills, and bridge the gap between academic learning and professional practice.

We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to the UTAR IEM Student Section, Ir. Prof. Dr. Ng Choon Aun, and the organising team for the kind invitation and warm hospitality.

IEM Perak Branch is always pleased to support initiatives that nurture young engineering talent and inspire the next generation of engineers.
