Wing Chun Academy Notice

​Subject: World Cup Celebration & Temporary Uniform Policy Update

​Dear Parents and Students,
​As many of you are aware, the FIFA World Cup kicks off this week! To celebrate this exciting global event and foster a fun, community-driven atmosphere at the academy, we are introducing a temporary update to our training attire policy.

​Starting this week, students are permitted to wear football jerseys to training instead of their standard academy t-shirts. Given our academy's roots and local support, England jerseys (or those of any other team you are cheering for!) are highly encouraged.

​Please note the following guidelines for this temporary policy:

​⚽ Duration: This policy is effective immediately and will run until the end of the tournament on Sunday, July 19, 2026.

​⚽ Safety: Jerseys should fit reasonably well and not have any loose elements or hard zippers/toggles that could cause injury during sparring or drills.

​Standard uniform requirements will resume on Monday, July 20, 2026.

​Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing plenty of team colors on the mats over the coming weeks!
