Amphenol TCS currently has two divisions in Penang, Bukit Minyak. One in Bukit Minyak, which is specializing in high-performance connectors assembly and another newly established division in IKS Bukit Minyak, which is specializing in High Precision Interconnect Stamping , Plating and Insert Moulding. Tooling Technician
Responsibilities:
• Maintaining Injection moulding in good productive condition.
• Analyze problem and repair tooling for corrective action.
• Make improvement and propose corrective and preventive action.
• Setup and follow up on Injection mould setup and trouble-shooting on mould and machine.
• Assemble new tooling and modification/ upgrading.
• Operate surface grinding machine for fabrication, resurface and modification.
• Completes routine die report for traceability/ improvements and communicates effectively through detail information.
• Conduct test runs with completed tools or dies to ensure that parts meet specifications.
• To handle other tasks and duties as and when requested by superior.
Requirement
• Candidate must possess at least SPM or equivalent/ Certificate in Tool & Die Marking.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in Injection Moulding dies and tooling is required or this position.
• Able to work on shift, support overtime and work on Public Holiday as and when requested by superior.
• Applicants must be willing to work in IKS Bukit Minyak.
• Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Engineering – Mechanical or equivalent.
• Full – time positions are available.
