To answer wave refraction question, always remember
1. V= f λ equation
2. Comparing deep and shallow region:

A.V in deep region GREATER than V in shallow region

B.f must be the SAME for deep and shallow region because frequency depends on its source only * hot question in exam.

C.λ in deep region GREATER than λ in shallow region
