接着，他们运用 Frida 作品中常见的色彩、花卉与象征元素，一起变身成小小 Frida！🎨✨

Following a storytelling session about Frida Kahlo, our kiddos created their own handmade Frida Fiesta Filter using the colours, flowers and symbols inspired by the artist herself. 🌺

Frida Kahlo rejected the notion of a fixed identity, presenting herself in many different ways in both her art and appearance. Stand face-to-face with Frida Kahlo in our Tate Modern exhibition, Frida: The Making of an Icon, open from this Thursday.

When I was a kid, my mum had a very strange reward system:

So naturally, I grew up and became a full-time bookworm.
And now that I'm a teacher, it's my turn to continue the cycle. 😈📚

🌺 The Artist Famous for Her Unibrow 👁️👄👁️

Mexican artist Frida Kahlo is known for her unique self-portraits and iconic unibrow. Flower crowns, animals, tropical plants, and vibrant colours often appear in her artworks.

Throughout her life, Frida created more than 50 self-portraits. She once said:
"I paint myself because I am the subject I know best."

This month, we will be discovering the colourful world of Frida Kahlo!
