Industry Project Title: Developing Robot Pick and Place with Smart Analytical IoT System for Digitalization of the Manufacturing System

Description: Join our dynamic Industry Focus Project aimed at revolutionizing manufacturing processes through the integration of advanced robotics and IoT systems. This one-year contract position involves working directly with industry partners to develop and implement a state-of-the-art pick and place system enhanced with smart analytical IoT capabilities. Key project components include:
1. Optimizing Pick and Place Processes: Leverage Cobot robots and the Robot Operating System (ROS) to enhance precision and efficiency.

2. Implementing IoT for Real-Time Quality Monitoring: Utilize devices like ESP32, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and Blynk to ensure continuous quality assurance.

3. Integrating Operational Analytics for Efficiency: Collect and analyze operational data such as machine utilization, cycle times, and energy consumption using IoT sensors.

4. Developing a Digitalized Smart System: Create an interconnected system that brings together robotics and IoT for a streamlined manufacturing process with smart analysis.

Position Details:
1. Duration: 12 months (Available from September 2024 onwards) - contract
2. Monthly Allowance: RM3000 (for 12 months)
3. Additional Support: Transportation to the industry site and hardware/software purchase are covered,
Note: This is a practical development position focused on industry application, not for academic Master or PhD study.

Qualifications:

2. Independent and self-motivated with strong analytical thinking skills.
3. Responsible and proactive in task management, with a commitment to meeting industry deadlines.

Teaching, outlining the fundamentals (how), providing guidance for applying in a case study problem or real-world application, developing innovative theories to embrace technological advancements like AI, Industry 4.0, and smart systems, demonstrating the proof of concept by watching some real applications on YouTube or in an industry setting, discussing industry challenges, and developing a proof of concept prototype before scaling up to an actual industry system are all crucial to producing competent students with the ability to think critically, adapt to changing environments, and pursue lifelong learning. Getting through the maze of real-world engineering education. Teaching engineering involves more than just memorizing numbers and formulas and theory; it also involves preparing the next generation of innovators for the challenges they will encounter. As we prepare students for the next generation of problem solvers, we confront real-world obstacles to impart practical, useful information, from complex engineering foundations to swift technological shifts.

Participated as academic support in GIG (Global Immersion Guarantee) program from 22 Jan 2024 to 2 Feb 2024 with MUA and MUM. It is a transformative journey, tackling sustainability and development challenges head-on. Worked to provide the supporting information to the students during the journey. The students involved in dive deep into real-world issues, gain hands-on experience, and make a positive impact worldwide.

Halfway through the volunteer work for tutoring school students under the "Teach for Malaysia" organization - the team is motivated to teach the students to understand topics.

Found a bit funny as today is Sunday, suddenly Balai Police Petaling called me 2x, I did not pick up but feel suspicious (more like a scam to me but seems the number is real though with current technology can manipulate the number). Not sure why police wants from me actually. Usually not easy to call them also. Maybe I should I go to Balai Police Petaling asking them why they call me personally to my phone number on Sunday. Just chill a bit - worse case go lokap.
