Come for a whimsical afternoon listening to the original compositions of a talented young singer song writer.

Mirabai Kukathas has garnered such honors as the Robert Bloch Award for Music, placing at MoPop’s battle of the bands “SoundOff”, being named one of the Gates Foundation's 100 Local Changemakers, winning the Young Playwrights Project (twice). Since 2020, Mirabai has released 11 singles, 2 EPs, and 3 full-length albums - imbuing everything with a “simple eloquence” and “terrifying honesty” that is equal parts hilarious, heartbreaking, and hopeful.

With the increasing number of crimes and sexual assaults, SI Ipoh is organising a Street Crime Awareness Programme for women and young adults across Perak.

This programme aims to raise awareness about everyday threats and equip participants with practical skills to avoid unnecessary risks, whether at home, at work, or in public spaces.

The session also includes guidance on coping with emergencies with confidence and composure.

Too often, we react after danger happens. But what if we were trained, prepared, and confident ahead of time?

We’ll learn from Captain K. Balasupramaniam how to:
✔ Handle sn**ch thefts
✔ Deal with road rage & bullies
✔ Stay safe while traveling
✔ Protect our families during threats

💰 Only RM35 | 🕑 2–6PM | 📍 Kinta Riverfront Hotel

Safety is not luck. It’s awareness + action. Let’s level up together 🙌
