Ave Maria Convent Choir Club

On 7 November 2025, A.M.C Ladies Chorus proudly took part in the Malaysian Choral Eisteddfod, a prestigious international choral competition. This journey reflected months of dedication, teamwork, and discipline, as our members continued rehearsing even during exam month, balancing both academic responsibilities and choral commitments while growing stronger as an ensemble.

We are honored to share that we achieved the Gold C award in the Teenage Category, with a score of 84.63. Compared to last year, this result reflects our noticeable improvement and the progress we have made as a choir. It represents the collective effort of every member, our growing musical maturity, and the perseverance we demonstrated throughout this journey.

Mr Terence Au Eng Yee , our dedicated coach, deserves our deepest gratitude for his unwavering commitment, expertise, and belief in our potential, all of which played a vital role in this achievement. We would also like to extend our special thanks to our teachers, Pn Hew Tiet Min, Pn Wong Fong Yean, Pn Low Chiu Yen, Pn Kamalia, for accompanying us to the competition and taking such great care of us throughout the entire journey. We are also truly thankful to our families and supporters for their constant encouragement and support.

Built in 1962, our pool now is 62 years old and it is no longer safe for our students anymore. We can make it a reality and we can give AMCians a better future.

On the 11th of July 2020, AMC Choir held our annual AGM virtually on Zoom. It has been a wonderful year for all the 2019/2020 choir committees and it is time to pass it on to the next batch. On behalf of the 2020 choir comittee, we thank all members for the cooperation given to the us throughout the year. On the other hand, on behalf of the members, we truly appreciate the dedication and sacrifices that the committee has given to lead our club💕 At last, let us give a round of applause to the 2020/2021 AMC Choir committee👏
