Registered Akmal into this abacus class umur dia 6 tahun rasanya lepas mama Akmal Hamizan kena tahan dengan promoter kat AEON Kinta City.

Dia kata, puan nak anak puan jadi genius mengira tak?
Dalam hati terus kata wowwweee! Of course la nak,kan.
Tambahan pulak mama Akmal tak nak anak-anak dia bengap Maths macam mama depa.

So, kita pun duduk dengar explanation, tengok videos and terbeliak jugak lah biji mata tengok videos budak-budak tu mengira berpuluh-puluh baris nombor guna jari dalam masa beberapa saat je.

Tanpa pikir apa dah, mama Akmal pun terus la daftarkan.

So, this year genaplah sudah 12 tahun Akmal belajar abacus and mama dia pun dah nampak hasilnya.

He is my walking calculator without a calculator, kira guna jari je.
Dia tak pernah susah payah hafal sifir dia,guna mental abacus je.
Nak belajar square root kuasa dua pun boleh guna abacus.
How awesome is that huh!

How I wish I learned abacus masa kecik dulu. Idak le asyik dapat markah merah aje for Maths. Simple calculation pun mama Akmal hopeless. Haishhh.

Anyway, to be what he is right now needs consistency and a lot of practice and dengar cakap sifu.
