๐ธโจ On 18th July 2024, from 8 AM to 12 PM, SMJK SAM TET had the honor of hosting the Prefectorial Board of SMK MUNSHI IBRAHIM for a benchmark visit! It was an incredible day filled with meaningful exchanges and unforgettable experiences.
The day began with a grand welcome featuring a vibrant lion dance, a powerful 24 Festival Drum performance from , and an impressive brass band from ๐ Following the welcome, our guests were given a comprehensive school tour, showcasing our facilities and achievements.
After the tour, we enjoyed a delightful breakfast together, providing a perfect opportunity to bond and share stories. ๐ฅโ๏ธ The highlight of the visit was a sharing session where we demonstrated how our prefects diligently maintain discipline within our school. This exchange of ideas and practices was truly inspiring for everyone involved.
Before their departure, we had the pleasure of showing them our Prefect Room, giving them a glimpse into our daily operations and the dedication of our team.
A heartfelt thank you to the Prefectorial Board of SMK MUNSHI IBRAHIM for joining us and making this day so special. Together, we are paving the way for a brighter future in student leadership and school collaboration. ๐

The Sam Tet Prefectorial Board is excited to announce the opening of registration for Form 3 and Form 4 students who are interested in becoming prefects! ๐
Being a prefect is a rewarding opportunity to develop leadership skills, contribute to the school community, and serve as a role model for your peers. ๐
To apply, please fill out the registration form (link in bio) and submit it by 26 March 2023. ๐ฅ Successful applicants will be added to a WhatsApp group for further updates. The interviews will be held on 28th March, and details will be sent via WhatsApp. ๐

After the group photo session with the Brother John Moh Statue, they were invited into the Hall to enjoy their lunch while performances were being performed by the 4 amazing music clubs such as The ๐ช, ๐ป๐ท๐บ๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ช, ๐ผ and lastly ๐บ๐ท๐ฏ๐ฅ.

After the performances, YB Nga Kor Ming delivered a speech about our schoolโs history & the Chinese Culture. After delivering his speech, the event continues with the most exciting moment which everyone was waiting for which was the opening ceremony of The BROTHER JOHN MOH Statue. A few prefects were put in placed to pull the trigger of the Confetti Poppers๐๐. After the red cloth being taken off from the Statue, the statue were being revealed by everyone in the scene the prefects immediately pull the trigger of the confetti poppers๐ as well as launching the confetti cannons๐. After this exciting moment, all of the Ministers, School Headmaster and the school committee members had a group photo with the Brother John Moh Statue.

After the 7 Southern Lions welcomed the Ministers with lions dance performances, they then have a group photo ๐ธ with the 7 Southern Lions ๐ฆ as a memory. Our distinguished guest YB Nga Kor Ming was intrigued with the Chinese Calligraphy written by Brother John Moh. They then proceeded to the field to watch the amazing performances by The Sam Tet Brass Band ๐บ๐ฅ๐ท, Sam Tet Wushu Club ๐ฆ๐๐ฅ& Sam Tet Tai Chi Club

Before the Ministers arrive at our school SMJK SAM TET, the teachers in-charge set up the balloons and red cloth to cover the BROTHER JOHN MOH statue before the opening ceremony of it starts. At around 9:30AM when Ministers arrived, they were warmly welcomed by our School Headmaster, Assistant Headmasters, Teachers & most importantly by the Wushu Club. They immediately sent out 7 of the Southern Lions ๐ฆ to make the scene more cultural. ๐ฎ

We are all glad that The Opening Ceremony of BROTHER JOHN MOH Statue & Chinese New Year Celebration with The Ministers YB Nga Kor Ming, Wong Kah Woh & other Ministers Event went well as we collaborated all of our duties with The United Society of Sam Tet ๐ค, Chinese Club, Youth Cadets, Scouts, Police Cadets ๐ฎ, Red Crescent ๐, PA System ๐ค& Leo Club of Sam Tet ๐ฆso that the event will go on smoothly. Thank you everyone who has contributed and helped in this major event that will be written into the history book of SAM TET for future generations to remember.

After the game session, the final Lucky draw of the day was held. After that, all of the outgoing prefects were being called onto the stage while receiving small gifts to represent the memories of The Sam Tet Prefectorial Board. Finally the event ended with a group photo.
