Burned off all the energy at Kidster Gurney Plaza today! 🏃‍♂️🎉

This week at Little Playhouse Childcare, we’re trading our usual routine for non-stop celebrations because we have THREE amazing little ones turning a year older! 🥳

From extra-special circle time songs to birthday crowns and a whole lot of laughter, we’re making sure each of our birthday stars feels like the king or queen of the castle on their special day. 👑✨

🍉💥 SMASHING FRUIT SENSORY PLAY! 💥🍇

We gave our little ones the BEST kind of messy activity—smashing real fruit! 🙌😂

We set out soft fruits like bananas, berries, watermelon, and kiwi... and let them go wild!

👐 Squish. Smash. Squeeze. Splat.

This wasn't just chaos (okay, maybe a little 😆)—it was serious learning!

Through this sticky, juicy sensory play, our toddlers practiced:

🎨 Fine motor skills – squeezing, mashing, and pinching.
👀 Hand-eye coordination – aiming and smashing!
🧪 Cause & effect – "What happens when I press hard?"
🗣️ Language skills – describing textures, colors, and sounds.
😌 Emotional regulation – safe, satisfying sensory release!

Yes, it got MESSY. Yes, we had sticky hands and fruity floors. And YES, it was 100% worth it! 🍓💦
