The Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) hosted its Prelude Event of the AIAC Asia ADR Week 2026 – "Road to Kainos: The Northern Edition" in Penang on 25 September 2026 (Friday).
Our respected professional logistician, YBhg. Dato' Log. Ts. Dr. Chang Kah Loon (拿督曾家麟博士), PhD (USM), FCILT, FLogM, who's also a Certified Logistics Mediator (CLM), joined the Panel Discussion: “When the Cargo Stops: Where do the Port and Logistics Disputes Begin?” He professionally explained the practices of logistics, especially maritime logistics, the potential issues of disagreement between parties, and the encouragement of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) in logistics.
Dato' Dr. Chang sincerely urged the industry practitioners to perform adaptations and adoptions, ensure lifelong learning, and go for logistics education and training if they intend to expand their markets and business regionally and globally. Generally, those who know logistics well can enjoy significant cost savings in business transactions, including exports and imports. Alternatively, they can seek advice and assistance from certified professional logisticians.
