Photography Workshop Recap 📸

A photography workshop led by Shankar Laxminarayan recently took place at Alliance Française de Penang, bringing together students from various participating schools for a meaningful and engaging session.

Participating schools included:
* SMK Kampong Selamat
* SMK Bukit Mertajam
* SMK Taman Inderawasih
* SMK Methodist Nibong Tebal
* SMK Convent Bukit Mertajam
* SMK Convent Greenlane
* Penang Free School
* MRSM Transkrian

The workshop provided students with the opportunity to explore photography in a creative and interactive setting, guided by the speaker’s experience and insights. It was a valuable platform for participants to discover new perspectives and deepen their appreciation for visual expression.

We were pleased to provide the venue for this workshop and to welcome all participants for this session.

🇫🇷 Taking the DELF Scolaire this October? Let’s get ready together!

Calling all public school students across Malaysia preparing for DELF Scolaire A1, A2 or B1! Join our FREE online revision webinars to practise your writing and speaking skills and build confidence for exam day.

Supported by Alliance Française de Malaisie and the Embassy of France, this initiative helps students from public schools nationwide prepare for their October examinations.

✍️ For each level, we offer:
- One 3-hour writing practice session
- Two speaking practice sessions — 3 hours and 2 hours

We’ll guide you through the written production and spoken production exercises, explore examples and give you plenty of opportunities to practise.

🙌 Come when you can, stay for as long as you want! Join the sessions that fit your schedule and make the most of the practice time available.

Un drame poignant sur la mémoire, le traumatisme et le chemin vers la reconstruction, suivant une survivante qui tente de reprendre sa vie en main après un attentat à Paris.

⭐ 14 Octobre – Je verrai toujours vos visages
Un film profondément humain sur la justice restaurative, où victimes et auteurs d’infractions se rencontrent pour partager leurs expériences, s’écouter et tenter de se comprendre.

⭐ 18 Novembre – Hiver à Sokcho
Un film délicat et atmosphérique sur une rencontre inattendue entre une jeune femme coréenne et un peintre français, explorant l’identité, les différences culturelles et les liens qui se créent au-delà des frontières.
