恒中圣约翰救伤队 St. John Ambulance of Heng Ee High School St. John Ambulance of Heng Ee High School was established in 1971 and officially registered with the National Headquarters on 2nd August 1971.

The commendable success until today is the result of hard work, dedication and loyalty of its members as well as the underlying efforts of the ex-members who continue to give their guidance, encouragement and advice. It is through this team spirit that the Division has done so well and will continue to do so in the years to come. Throughout these years, many members have graduated from the Divisions and they take with their invaluable experience and memories of being St. John Ambulance Division members. These experience and memories form a significant part of their life’s as they move on along life’s journey. School education is not solely based on academic pursuits. Co-curricular activities play a very important part in the moulding of the student’s character as well as enriching their experience. As such, students should not only focus on acquiring academic knowledge alone during their school years. Participation in uniform bodies like St. John Ambulance enables students to acquire skills and experiences that are not taught in classrooms. The discipline, training and organising experience they acquire bring out the leadership qualities in them. In conjunction of 42nd Anniversary of today, 2nd August 1971, St. John Ambulance of Heng Ee High School decided to join Facebook. We wish ex-members and current members able to establishing network, interaction and further strengthening friendship between each other here. Welcome to this huge family - St. John Ambulance of Heng Ee High School.

AED（Automated External Defibrillator），也称为「自动体外心脏除（去）颤器」或是「傻瓜电击器」，是一部能够自动侦测患者心脉、并施以电击使心脏恢复正常运作的医疗仪器，主要设置于人潮众多的公共场所，以供公众抢救猝死者时使用。

有别于医院中限定专业医护人员使用的手动电击器，AED主要是特别设计给一般民众使用的，因此仪器的操作均非常的简单，通常仅需要开启电源、将贴片贴至患者身上，AED便会自动分析心律，判定是否需要电击，操作者只要依照机器的指示执行，直到专业医护人员到达即可。

若能够在发生猝死时取得AED，我们便可以在实施CPR的时候同时进行AED急救，大大缩减了过去等待医护人员到达才施予电击除颤的时间差，而越早进行电击、则病人抢救成功的机率也越大。

短短几分钟的时间，若有片刻的延误，即可能造成终生的遗憾与伤痛。
