48th Thirumurai Recital Competition Update
A total of 22 students participated in this extremely tough competition consist of about 500 to 600 participants and 4 of our Sri Sakthi Vinayagar Temple students have qualified for the NATIONAL LEVEL! The highlight was one of our students clinching 3 CHAMPIONSHIPS - BRAVO!
We could not have achieved this without the guidance of Veloo Ayya- heartfelt thanks to him.🙏

48th Thirumurai Recital Vizha 2026
Held on Saturday, 11th July 2026, at Sri Mahamariamman Temple, Tanjung Bungah, Penang — hosted by Malaysia Hindu Sangam Tanjung Bungah Local Council.
🎉 Congratulations to Sri Sakthi Vinayagar Temple, Fettes Park, Penang!
Out of 32 prathanai class students, 23 have won and qualified for the State Level Thirumurai Competition on 2nd August 2026 at SJKT Mak Mandin, Butterworth, Penang.
