A proud moment!! A St. John Ambulance, Penang's Cadet, courageously stepped forward to assist an injured woman at Sunshine Mall by providing first aid and comforting her while waiting for the ambulance to arrive.

Her actions reflect the values of compassion, service, and responsibility. We commend her bravery and kindness, and hope her example inspires others to help those in need.

见义勇为展现仁心 本校学生主动施援获赞扬

本校 J2L班的 学生陈昕榆同学日前在校外展现了锺灵学子关爱他人、乐于助人的精神，值得全体师生学习与肯定。

2026年6月10日，陈昕榆同学在 Sunshine Mall 底楼靠近“台好呷”一带时，发现一名妇女疑因地面湿滑而不慎跌倒受伤。事发后，该名妇女虽然意识清醒，但左小腿出现伤口并持续流血。面对突发情况，陈昕榆同学没有选择袖手旁观，而是第一时间上前协助伤者止血，并协助移除脚链，以方便后续急救工作进行。在救护车抵达并将伤者送往医院后，她也主动协助整理现场及清理地面血迹，充分展现出冷静应变、勇于承担及关怀社会的优秀品格。

陈昕榆同学在受访时表示，当时她发现一名妇女跌倒受伤并持续流血，她的第一反应是紧张与害怕，担心自己经验不足会处理不当，因此一开始不敢立即上前。在看到周围虽然有许多人围观，却没有人主动协助，而伤者情况不断流血的情况下，她便不再犹豫。

“我协助伤者进行止血，并用纱布按压伤口，同时安抚其情绪，尽量减轻她的紧张与不适。由于伤者无法移动，我也避免随意搬动，并在一旁等待救护人员到达。”她表示当时虽然紧张，也受到围观人群的压力，但仍不断提醒自己保持冷静，专注处理当下情况。

陈昕榆同学也表示，这次经历让她明白了真实的急救环境与训练不同，即使会紧张，也必须在能力范围内做出判断并采取行动。未来如果再遇到类似情况，她仍会选择伸出援手，因为帮助他人本身就是一种责任与善意的体现。

见义勇为不仅是一种勇气，更是一种责任感的体现。陈昕榆同学在关键时刻伸出援手，以实际行动诠释了锺灵独中“十大信条”的校训精神，也展现了锺灵学子应有的人文关怀与公民素养。

校方对此给予高度赞赏，并期盼全体同学以陈昕榆同学为榜样，在他人需要帮助时主动关怀、乐于服务，让善意与温暖在社会中不断传递。
