Shining Bright at the Annual Conference! 🏆✨
Venus Toastmasters Club swept up two prestigious awards at the recent Annual Conference: the Early Achiever and the Smedley Distinguished Club & Club Quality Gold Achiever for the 2025-2026 term!

While we are incredibly proud of these trophies, the true victory lies in the priceless teamwork of our Club Officers and members. We have worked hand-in-hand, supporting one another through every challenge, proving that this success belongs to the entire team.

What started as a group of strangers has grown into a community built on lasting bonds of fellowship. Leadership is a journey, and these connections are far more valuable than any accolade. While maintaining this legacy will require dedication, we are fully committed to striving for this same excellence in the coming term!

Joint meeting between Venus Toastmasters Club and Speecom Toastmasters Club was a masterclass in harmony!

Our dual Toastmasters of the Evening (TMEs) Xiao Zhen (Venus) & Sean (Speedcom) orchestrated the session like a perfect duet, creating a vibrant virtual stage for all participants to shine.

We are excited to welcome the newest addition - Camille Mah to our team. Please join us in giving her a warm welcome.

A little about her — A soul who loves listening, learning, and finding beauty in the little things. Nature calms her. She loves surrounding myself with greens and the stillness it brings. She enjoys yoga and Pilates, even though she is far from perfect at them. They remind her that growth often comes with a bit of struggle and strength. She loves psychology, coffee everydays and simple comfort food like ramen or shakshuka with sourdough.

She decided to join Toastmasters to as a way of turning her thoughts into words and her smile into a voice.

Let’s give her a big warm welcome and help her feel right at home!

We are excited to welcome the newest addition - Cherry to our team. Please join us in giving her a warm welcome.

A little about her — she enjoys watching movies during her free time. She also loves to try different types of steamboat, especially discovering new soup bases and ingredients. Her favourite pastime includes spending time travelling and trying different foods in other countries. She really enjoys exploring new places, learning about different cultures, and tasting local dishes — it’s a fun way to experience something new each time I travel.

She decided to join Toastmasters to enhance her speaking abilities and hopes to achieve these goals as a member of Venus Toastmasters.

We just wrapped up a rewarding Club Officer meeting. The goal? Keeping our streak of "Distinguished Club" recognition alive. 🏆 It’s a challenge, but with this team, it’s absolutely possible.

A huge shoutout to everyone at today’s Club Officer Training! We learned some incredible tips from other clubs on how to take things from "good" to "GREAT." We are ready to implement these ideas and make the next 6 months our best yet.
