Over the past four weeks, our AI Explorers took their ideas from imagination to something they could actually build, share and present to others.

Through ๐Š๐”๐‘๐€๐ˆโ€™๐ฌ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ฃ๐ž๐œ๐ญ-๐›๐š๐ฌ๐ž๐ ๐€๐ˆ ๐œ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ซ๐ข๐œ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฆ, students donโ€™t simply learn how to use AI tools. They learn a process of ๐ˆ๐ฆ๐š๐ ๐ข๐ง๐ž โ†’ ๐‚๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ญ๐ž โ†’ ๐ˆ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž โ†’ ๐๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ž๐ง๐ญ โ€” using AI as a tool to support their own thinking and creativity.

They began by imagining their own worlds, developing their ideas and planning what they wanted to create. From there, they used AI to help bring their ideas to life through ๐ฐ๐ž๐›๐ฉ๐š๐ ๐ž ๐œ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, making decisions about their content, design and overall experience. Along the way, they reviewed their work, made improvements and learned how to communicate their ideas.

In teams, they invented their own AI-powered drone concept to solve a real-world problem, from disaster relief to ocean conservation, generated their design with AI, and built a website to pitch it.

On ๐ƒ๐š๐ฒ ๐Ÿ ๐š๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐‘๐„๐•๐€ ๐ƒ๐ซ๐จ๐ง๐ž ๐€๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐š, it was hands-on: flying and operating different types of drones, mastering the drone soccer drones specifically, and competing in obstacle courses and a live Drone Soccer match.

More than learning to fly, students practised framing a real problem, asking sharper questions of AI, and backing their ideas under real competition pressure.
