UMPSA Debat/Pidato Bahasa Cina 彭大辩论 成立于2013年9月29日。
于2020年7月22日正式加入彭大辩论及演说学会。

Established on 29th Sept 2013. Officially joined UMP Orator Club on 22nd July 2020.

彭大辩论创办的目的不仅于提高辩手剖析解决问题的技巧，还在于给予积极的批评与评判，同时磨练彭大学生在听众面前表达能力。

UMP Debat/Pidato Bahasa Cina bertujuan bukan sahaja mendedahkan tentang teknik menyelesaikan masalah, tetapi memberi kritikan yang positif dan pada masa yang sama mengasah bakat ketrampilan mahasiswa/i untuk berucap di hadapan khalayak.

[Gambang News] From May 1 to 2, 2026, the preliminary round of the 6th Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) International Varsity Mandarin Debate Championship officially kicked off, bringing together elite debate teams from global higher education institutions for a high-level online competition. The debate team of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) was invited to participate, sending a dedicated team of six debaters to face the formidable Sichuan University team. Over two consecutive days of intense intellectual exchange, UMPSA competed as the opposition on May 1 and switched to the proposition on May 2. Although the team failed to qualify for the subsequent stages, their performance remained highly commendable; particularly in the second match, the 3rd and 4th debaters received nominations for ”Best Debater“ due to their clear logical reasoning and steady on-site performance, showcasing UMPSA‘s debating competence on the international stage. Following the event, the team members conducted a comprehensive review to summarize their experiences, studied the strategies of other top-tier teams, and engaged in online exchanges with international peers. This experience has significantly enhanced their teamwork and adaptability, laying a solid foundation for future international success.

【甘孟讯】 2026年5月1日至2日，由马来西亚工艺大学（UTM）主办的第六届国际华语辩论赛初赛正式开启，吸引了全球多所高校的辩论精英汇聚云端。彭亨苏丹阿都拉大学（UMPSA）辩论队受邀派遣6名辩手参赛，在初赛阶段与四川大学辩论队展开对决。我校队伍在5月1日以反方立场出战，并于2日切换为正方立场，连续两天完成了高强度的国际对抗。尽管最终未能顺利晋级，但我校学子的表现依然可圈可点，尤其在5月2日的比赛中，我方三辩与四辩凭借清晰的逻辑表达与稳健的临场发挥，双双获得“最佳辩手”提名，在国际舞台上展现了出色的思辨素养。赛后，队员们通过复盘总结、观摩学习及线上交流，深度梳理了实战经验并改进战术风格。此次参赛不仅积累了高水平国际网辩的实战经历，更提升了团队协作与应变能力，为未来征战更多国际赛事打下了坚实基础。

彭大辩论社例常五《收官之辩》
不是终点，是思想的终局对决⚡

这是我们本学期最后一次，用逻辑和语言定义立场的机会。
没有剧本，没有预设，只有针尖对麦芒的真实交锋；
没有对错，没有输赢，只有观点碰撞时迸发出的思维火花。

从立论的步步为营，到攻防的极限拉扯；
从自由辩的快嘴交锋，到总结陈词的最后升华；
所有藏在辩题里的巧思、所有准备时的反复打磨、所有赛场上的临场反应，都将在Block X，画上最炸的句点。

别当旁观者，别只在朋友圈刷别人的高光时刻。
来现场，听一次把“抬杠”玩成艺术的对决；
来现场，看一场用语言就能点燃全场的终局之战；
来现场，见证谁能在最后一战里，把辩论玩到极致。

Every clever angle hidden in the topic, every late-night practice, every on-the-spot reaction will draw its most explosive period at Block X.

[Gambang News] On April 11, 2026, the UMPSA Debate Team participated in The 20th National Varsity Chinese Debating Championship (QUANBIAN 20), one of Malaysia’s largest university-level debating tournaments organised by the University of Malaya. The competition serves as a prestigious platform for debaters to engage with national and international issues while refining critical thinking and communication skills.
UMPSA sent six representatives to the preliminary rounds held from April 11 to 16, competing on April 11 and 12 against Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). The team travelled from the Gambang campus on April 10, settled into accommodation upon arrival, and conducted mock debates with senior debaters. Their coach closely supported preparations by offering feedback on strategy, argument structure and in-round performance.
On April 11, UMPSA competed as the Opposition on the motion “Has social movement died in our country?” Despite a narrow loss, the Opposition Second Speaker earned a Best Speaker nomination for strong rebuttal and questioning skills. On April 12, the team returned as Proposition on the same motion, where the Second and Fourth Speakers also received Best Speaker nominations.
Although the team did not advance beyond the preliminary stage, their performance was praised by adjudicators for solid fundamentals and clear reasoning. After the competition, they actively observed other teams and engaged in exchanges to broaden their debating exposure.

【甘孟讯】2026年4月11日，彭亨苏丹阿都拉大学（UMPSA）辩论队再次参与两年一度的全国大专辩论赛（全辩20）。作为马来西亚规模最大的大专辩论赛事之一，该赛事由马来亚大学主办，被誉为辩手们的殿堂级舞台，不仅聚焦马来西亚及国际时事议题，也为辩手提供了深入思辨与表达训练的平台。
本次比赛，彭大辩论队共派出6名辩手代表学校出征。初赛阶段于4月11日至16日举行，队伍被分配在11日与12日两个赛程。首轮对手为马来西亚工艺大学（UTM）。
队伍于4月10日早上从甘孟校园出发，乘坐校方安排的巴士前往赛场。抵达后，辩手们迅速入住民宿调整状态，并于当晚展开赛前模拟辩论，同时与资深学长学姐交流切磋。随队教练亦全程陪同，从战术部署、立论结构到临场应对给予指导与点评，协助队员进一步完善备赛状态。
4月11日，彭亨大学以反方身份迎战马来西亚工艺大学，辩题为“我国社会运动已死/未死”。尽管最终惜败对手，但反方二辩表现亮眼，成功获得最佳辩手提名，展现出出色的临场反应与盘问能力。翌日，队伍再次以正方身份出战，就同一辩题展开第二轮论辩。正方二辩与四辩同样获得最佳辩手提名，整体表现稳健。
虽然未能在初赛圈出圈，但整体表现依然可圈可点，本校辩手亦获得多位评审的肯定与称赞，认为其辩论功底扎实、思路清晰。这两场赛事充分体现了队员们踏实认真的备赛态度与持续成长的潜力。
赛后，队员们亦主动观摩其他学校的比赛场次，积极学习不同风格与策略，并与各校辩手进行交流切磋，拓展视野。此番比赛虽以遗憾告终，但彭大辩论队在高强度对抗中展现出的学习能力、团队协作与思辨成长，为未来赛事积累了宝贵经验，也为后续进步奠定坚实基础。
