TrackMaster: App-driven Arduino Robot 2026 – A Complete Success! 🚀

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us on June 6, 2026, for an incredible hands-on experience in robotics and application development.

During the program, participants dove straight into the intersection of hardware and software. Here is a look at the core skills we covered:

Hardware Assembly: Understanding the mechanics and wiring required to build a functional 4WD mobile robot.

Wireless Integration: Setting up the HC-05 Bluetooth module to establish a reliable communication link between the microcontroller and a smartphone.

Custom App Development: Designing and programming a unique mobile interface from scratch using MIT App Inventor to successfully steer and control the robot.

It was amazing to see so many innovative thinkers bringing their hardware to life through their own applications. Thank you for making this event a major milestone for our club!

Hey UTeM Students! Ready to control a robot right from your smartphone(Android)? 🤖📱

Join us for TrackMaster: App-Driven Arduino Robot! This beginner-friendly workshop skips the physical assembly (the 4WD robots are pre-built! 🤫) and dives straight into the exciting part: programming and app design.

The workshop is divided into two focused sessions:

💻 Class 1: Robot Programming
Focus entirely on coding! You will learn how to program the Arduino to make the pre-built 4WD robot move and respond to commands.

📱 Class 2: App Building & Bluetooth Setup
This is your all-in-one connectivity class! You will learn the theory behind the HC-05 Bluetooth module, how to customize and rename it, AND how to design your very own control interface using MIT App Inventor.

🚨 EXTREMELY LIMITED: There are ONLY 16 spots available for this event!

Over two days, UTeM students stepped into the world of line-following robotics, learning the fundamentals of assembly, understanding circuit connections, and exploring programming logic that drives autonomous movement. It wasn’t just about building a robot ,it was about building confidence, problem-solving skills, and engineering mindset.

We’re also proud to have welcomed new members into our community, growing a network of thinkers and builders ready to innovate together.
