Hari Pahlawan began to be celebrated from the year 1968 in Malaysia. The day is celebrated to remember the brave warriors who stood in the front line in the faces of the enemy, before and after independence. No words can express our gratitude to these brave souls who are relentless in defending the nation’s honour and pride!
On this day, as free Malaysian citizen, let us not forget the tormented life our ancestors had to go through and how their ability to overlook race and religion became the reason we achieved independence.
As a way to thank these brave heroes, let us cherish the freedom we have, and maintain it in prosperity with all Malaysians, religion and race aside. We must look forward in order to bring Malaysia to the eyes of the world as a free and independent nation!
