π KH8 Volleyball Teams Compete with Pride π
It has been an exciting start to the season for our KH8 Volleyball teams, with both the Girls and Boys competing at the U13 Volleyball Tournament at Oasis International School against the host team and Sunway International School.
The Girlsβ team showed great determination and resilience throughout the tournament. After a challenging opening fixture against Sunway, the girls bounced back with an incredibly close match against Oasis, narrowly winning the first set 26β24 before just missing out in the second set and deciding tie-breaker. Overall, it was a valuable and encouraging preparation ahead of Mondayβs KLSL competition.
Although the results did not go their way, the Boysβ team demonstrated fantastic teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the day. Their performances showed clear improvement and provided valuable match experience for the season ahead.
We are incredibly proud of all of the students for the way they represented KH8 both on and off the court. π

πππΎ A Bee-utiful Performance by Year 2 π―πΈπ§βπΎ
Last week, our amazing Year 2 students took to the stage to showcase the culmination of weeks of hard work, enthusiasm, and dedication with their wonderful performance of The Bee Musical!
Through this gripping and educational story, the children explored the essential role bees play in our ecosystem and the world around us, from our homes and farmers to the wider community. π
The performance was not only an opportunity for the students to step out of their comfort zones to sing, dance, and act in front of an audience with confidence and excitement, but also a meaningful chance to learn about an important topic that affects us all.
Their energy, teamwork, and courage truly made the performance something special, and we are incredibly proud of every single performer.
A huge well done to all of our Year 2 students for their fantastic efforts both on and off the stage. π
