It was wonderful to see so many new faces around campus and the excitement as our students begin this new chapter with us. We’re looking forward to seeing all that the year ahead brings!

🎓 Summer Camp 2026: Talent Show & Farewells 💚💛

After two weeks of learning, exploring, and making new friends, it was time for our Summer Camp students to come together for their final evening.

The evening began with a certificate ceremony, celebrating all they had accomplished throughout the camp, before moving on to a talent show where students could share their talents and enjoy one final evening together.

It was also a chance to say farewell to the friends they had made along the way and look back on the memories they created during their time at KH8.

After two weeks and so many experiences, this feels like the perfect way to bring our Summer Camp 2026 series to a close. Thank you to all our campers for being part of it! 🌏💚💛

🌿 Exploring Malaysia's Great Outdoors! 🌏

As part of their Summer Camp experience, our students had the opportunity to explore the natural side of Malaysia at the Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM). 🌳

The students took on the Forest Skywalk before joining a guided jungle trek, where they got to learn more about Malaysia's rainforest environment while experiencing it first-hand.

The adventure continued with a visit to Kuala Lumpur, giving our students another chance to explore and experience more of Malaysia.

☀️ Summer Camp 2026: The Highlights 🌏

And just like that, Summer Camp 2026 is coming to an end! 💚💛

Over the past two weeks, our students from around the world have learned, explored, created, and experienced plenty of what Malaysia has to offer. From discovering our history and culture to exploring the outdoors, trying new activities, and making new friends along the way, there was plenty to keep them busy!

Before we wrap up this year's Summer Camp, here's a quick look at some of the moments that made these two weeks special. 🎥

But we're not quite finished yet! Over the next few days, we'll be looking back at some of the experiences featured in the reel, including their Forest Trek and Skywalk adventure, before ending with one final Summer Camp celebration.

🎓✨ Meet One of Our Alumni! 👩🏻‍🔬🧬

Meet Neha Ramesh, one of our KH8 Class of 2023 graduates and former scholarship students!

From her time at King Henry VIII College, Neha has always had a passion for the sciences and research. While at KH8, she completed her IPQ paper on human gene editing and CRISPR, an outstanding piece of research that was published in a US journal. Alongside this achievement, she also co-founded and led the Biomedical Science Society with her friends, all while studying Biology and Physics.

Today, she's continuing that journey in Australia, where she's pursuing a Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science & Nuclear Medicine at Adelaide University, ranked 79th globally in the QS World University Rankings 2027.

We're incredibly proud to see how far Neha has come, and we're excited to watch where her passion for the sciences takes her next.

👑🫏💚 Meet the Main Cast of Shrek The Musical! 🧅🪄🐉

Although the final curtain has fallen, the memories of Shrek The Musical will stay with us for a long time to come. ✨

At the end of the last school year, our talented Senior School students from the Musical Theatre CCA brought Shrek The Musical to life with an unforgettable production, featuring a fantastic ensemble cast, live orchestra, stunning sets, spectacular costumes, and plenty of fairy tale magic.

In this interview, we sit down with our five leading cast members, Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, Lord Farquaad, and Dragon, to hear about their experiences stepping into these iconic roles, their favourite moments, and what it was like being part of the KH8 theatre production.

🎯🎸☀️ Summer Fest 2026 was one to remember! 🍦🌈🎈

Last month, our campus came alive as families, students, staff, and members of the community joined us for an afternoon filled with fun, laughter, and summer celebrations.

From exciting games and delicious food to live performances, family-friendly activities, and plenty of smiles, there was something for everyone to enjoy. It was wonderful to see our school community come together and celebrate the end of another fantastic academic year.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, as well as our dedicated staff, students, volunteers, and vendors who helped make the day such a success. Your enthusiasm and support made Summer Fest truly special.

🏅 Congratulations to Our Gymnasts! ✨

While many were enjoying their summer break, four of our talented KH8 students proudly represented both King Henry VIII College and the Sepang District at the Selangor MSSS Gymnastics Championship.

Their dedication, perseverance, and hard work shone through as they competed against some of the state's best young gymnasts.

A huge congratulations to our girls on their fantastic achievements! 🤸‍♀️✨

💚☀️ Our Summer Camp 2026 is still going strong! 🌏💛

It's been another exciting weekend of exploring Malaysian culture and creating unforgettable memories together.

One of our highlights was a visit to Putrajaya, Malaysia's administrative capital, where our campers admired the iconic Pink Mosque (Masjid Putra). From its breathtaking Islamic architecture to its peaceful surroundings, the visit gave students the opportunity to experience one of Malaysia's most recognisable landmarks and gain a deeper appreciation of the country's rich cultural heritage.

Our campers also enjoyed one of the most anticipated Summer Camp traditions, our annual Pasar Malam! 🌙🍢 They sampled a variety of Malaysian favourites, including freshly grilled satay and other delicious local dishes, giving them a taste of the country's vibrant food culture.

From iconic landmarks to authentic cultural experiences, every adventure helps our campers discover more of Malaysia while building friendships and memories that will last long after Summer Camp comes to an end. ✨
