📢 𝐈𝐏𝐃𝐆 𝐂𝐲𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝟏/𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭

MTSFB is delighted to announce the award of the Industry Promotion and Development Grant (IPDG) Cycle 1/2026 to Uni-Technologies Sdn Bhd for the "Study of Coexistence Between Uncrewed Aerial Systems (UAS) and International Mobile Telecommunications (IMT) Networks in Malaysia” project.

The Agreement Sign-Off Ceremony was successfully held on 5 May 2026, officially kicking off this collaborative initiative between industry stakeholders, mobile network operators, and drone ecosystem players.

Through simulations and real-world field measurements, the project will study how drones and mobile networks can safely coexist, supporting future drone applications while safeguarding network performance for everyday users 📡

This marks another important step towards enabling Malaysia’s low-altitude economy and strengthening innovation within the communications and multimedia industry.

Congratulations to Uni-Technologies Sdn Bhd, and thank you to all collaborators involved. We look forward to the journey ahead!
