What Is Sonata Form? It is a form of music composition used by composers to write the first movement of a sonata or a symphony.

Two main themes (called 1st & 2nd subject) will be presented and these themes will then develop into different keys, pitch register, rhythm, texture, dynamic expression before returning to its original state.
