The Rising Virtuoso Southeast Asia Music Competition 2025, organised by Artistar Music Academy, has officially concluded.

Thank you to all participants for being part of this memorable journey with us. Throughout the competition, we witnessed dedicated preparation, musical growth, inspiring performances, and many meaningful moments on stage. Each participant brought passion, courage, and artistry that made this year’s competition truly special.

A special congratulations to all finalists. Reaching the final stage is a meaningful achievement and a reflection of your hard work and commitment. Thank you also to all teachers, parents, adjudicators, supporters, and the organising team for your trust and encouragement throughout the competition.

Finalists Announcement

We are pleased to announce that the Finalists List for the
Rising Virtuoso Southeast Asia Music Competition 2025
has now been officially released.

The Preliminary Round was evaluated by a distinguished panel of adjudicators - Dr. Joanne Yeoh, Juwita Suwito, Svjatoslav Korolev, and Brace Soon - whose extensive experience in performance and music education ensured a fair, rigorous, and artistically meaningful evaluation for all participants.

Finalists who have advanced to the Finals Round will be contacted shortly by the Person-in-Charge with further information.

Please be informed that the preliminary round submission deadline has been extended by seven (7) days to allow additional time for submission.

📅 Revised Deadline: 21st December 2025

Participants who have not yet submitted are advised to complete their submissions within the revised timeline.
All submissions received prior to this notice remain valid.

At such a young age, from scratch to stage, Aesiah Miguel Valdez has shown the kind of artistry and discipline that defines a musician. Winning the Silver Prize at the 5th E-Artium Piano Competition & Festival 2025 is more than just a recognition of talent, it is also a reflection of countless hours of practice, patience, and passion poured into every note.
We couldn’t be prouder to see him carry the spirit of Artistar Music Academy with such passion and dedication! ☀️

Thank you UCSI University for the recognition!
Artistar Music Academy Sdn. Bhd. is honoured to be the only academy in Malaysia being awarded the Top Internship Provider Award 2025, alongside Music Bliss, which received the Industry Innovation Excellence Award.

It was a pleasure reconnecting and exchanging visions with Senior Professor Dr. P’ng Tean Hwa, Assistant Professor Justin Lim Fang Yee, Assistant Professor Dr. Christine Tan Yunn Bing, Assistant Professor Terrence Ling Hung Shu, and Assistant Professor Nur Lina Binti Anuar at this significant event hosted by the UCSI Institute of Music.

Dear Parents and Students,

We would like to share an update regarding this year’s Rising Virtuoso Southeast Asia Music Competition.

*Updated Schedule:*
Preliminary Round Video Submission Deadline: 14 December 2025
Results Announcement: 3 January 2026
Finalist Confirmation Period: 4–11 January 2026
In-Person Finals (Malaysia): 24–26 April 2026

To ensure fairness and accessibility for all participants across Southeast Asia, the *Physical Preliminary Round in Malaysia has been cancelled*. All participants will now submit their preliminary performances online.
This change provides more preparation time and ensures equal opportunity for every country.
