Equal Treatment of Kids

A narration has: My father went then to the Prophet (ﷺ) to call him as a witness to my Sadaqah (i.e. gift) and he asked, ""Have you done the same with all your children?"" He replied, ""No."" He said, ""Fear Allah and treat your children equally."" My father then returned and took back that gift.

"And enjoin prayer upon your family [and people] and be steadfast therein. We ask you not for provision; We provide for you, and the [best] outcome is for [those of] righteousness." — Surah Taha (20:132) 🕋✨

The family that prays together, stays together! Standing side-by-side in congregational prayer (Jama'ah) at home does something beautiful to a household—it brings down peace (Sakinah) and locks in family bonds.

Don't wait for your kids to grow up to invite them to the prayer mat. Let them catch the rhythm of Salah early by creating a beautiful family routine.
