Mechanical Treasure Hunt 2025, What a Ride! 🔧🏎️

From hunting down components to racing fully-assembled mini cars, our participants brought energy, teamwork, and creativity to the next level. 🚗⚙️🔥

Every team faced the pressure, solved challenges, and hustled to the finish line, and the results did not disappoint. Congratulations to all teams that joined and gave it their all!

A huge thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, or cheered from the sidelines. This is just the beginning, stay tuned for more hands-on, minds-on engineering fun.

We’re shifting gears and bringing you an event that’s all about teamwork, creativity,and a dash of friendly competition! 🔧🏁

🔥 What’s happening?
🚗 Teams will hunt for essential car components and gather everything needed to bring their mini machine to life.
🎮 A fun mini-game must be completed to unlock the assembly manual, so think fast and work smart!
🔩 Once unlocked, your team will assemble the car and prepare it for the final showdown.
🏎️ Race your creation against other teams to see who’s the fastest and most precise!
🎖️ The team that secures first place will win an exciting prize!

This isn’t just for engineering students : it’s open to everyone! The car is simple and beginner-friendly, so if you’ve got curiosity and teamwork, you’re good to go!

Greetings from IMechE UCSI SC. IMechE UCSI is thrilled to share its upcoming event "From Green Ideas to Green Buildings: Green Buildings Index's Tool Requirement ". Green Building Index (GBI) is Malaysia’s green rating system for buildings and township, created to promote sustainability in the built-environment and to raise awareness of environmental issues among the industry practitioners and the public. The GBI rating system provides an opportunity for designers, developers, building owners and building users to design, construct, operate and maintain green, sustainable buildings that can promote energy savings, a healthier indoor environment, better connectivity to public transport and the adoption of recycling and greenery for their projects to reduce building’s impact on the environment. GBI has, to date, launched 18 tools which are designed for specific building types. In line with support for the continuous advancement of the green building industry, we would like to do a sharing session for 1 hour to students with fundamentals on environmentally sustainable knowledge, address sustainability goals and GBI requirements.
