Recently, our students from UCSI’s IEEE On-Campus Club, accompanied by UCSI Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering faculty lecturers, EUR ING Ir. Victor Nagesparan, Dr. Shahid Manzoor, and Ts. Dr. Navinesshani Permal had the exceptional opportunity to explore the advanced world of 5G technology at 𝑴𝒚5𝑮 𝑳𝒂𝒃, 𝑻𝒖𝒏 𝑹𝒂𝒛𝒂𝒌 𝑬𝒙𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆.

The facility featured cutting-edge equipment and immersive holographic displays, showcasing the transformative potential of 5G. Guided by an expert from DNB, 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝟱𝗚’𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴-𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀, 𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗿𝗮-𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆—𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲, 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱.

🔹 Hands-on highlights included interactive sessions with prototypes and simulations—from virtual reality demonstrations to remote surgery simulations—that made the real-world applications of 5G come to life.

As our visit concluded, we departed with a renewed sense of inspiration and eagerness to explore the vast possibilities that 5G technology presents for the future. 🚀
