Student Leaders Board SMK Chaah, Segamat 📌Do you know what is Student Leaders Board (SLB) ? This is to prepare competitive human capital for the needs of the Iskandar Development Region.

Student Leaders Board (SLB) in Johore schools were formed on the basis of producing student leaders who will be potential exemplary leaders in school. The Johore Education Department feels that the time has come to develop a systematic plan to generate a generation of outstanding leaders in Johor. SLB also aspires to boost the performance of Johore schools and the excellence of its students. This

is consistent with the selection criteria for high-performing schools in the country that clearly emphasizes these two essential elements.

📌Objectives:

📢Create a group of young leaders in Johor who will create a legacy and new traditions in producing future generations of dynamic, innovative and creative leadership.

📢Enhance leadership excellence among outstanding students through exposure to leadership skills such as effective communication in international and diplomatic relations.

📢Develop benchmarking for all future leaders in Johore.

📢Open avenues for top students in Johor to gain experience and understanding on the responsibilities expected of members of the body.

📢To produce future leaders who are competitive and resilient in facing global issues and challenges.

📢Produce individuals with a ‘global’ mindset'; who can think globally yet possess and demonstrate strong devotion to the country.

📢To produce future leaders infused with a strong sentiment of patriotism and unwavering devotion to Johor.

Form 1 Orientation Programme 2022 was held successfully on 06 April 2022. As usual, Student Leaders Board SMK Chaah had become the organiser of this programme. 👏

There were 7 SLB members involved and made this programme a success. It was our great honor to invite SLB Joseph Woo (Ex-president of SLB SMK Chaah) and SLB Nur Dina Arifah. Much appreciation goes out to them. We are excited to invite them for the future event once again.🥰

For your information, this programme was introduced to Form 1 students so that they can be ready for their new semester and environment. This will also let them know their role as SMK Chaah's students. They were also introduced to the school song and the school environment so that they can know the facilities prepared in this school.

Last but not least, we hope that all the new intake students can quickly used to the new environment and studies in secondary school. 🥳🤩

This morning, the Student Leaders Board of SMK Chaah 2021 Year End Banquet was held to commemorate the services of Form 5 SLB members Batch 04 who have helped many teachers in various school programs. This batch is said to be the most proactive and steadfast in all the management of these activities. Every meeting will definitely end, hopefully SLB members will continue to thrive and become an excellent leader in the future.🔥
