Music Specialists Music Specialists is a Music Academy offering music lessons in Penang Island and Butterworth to stud Peter also teaches in Jelutong, Penang.

Music Specialists was established in 2011 by its principal Peter Lo. Located in Jalan Raja Uda, Butterworth, it offers music lessons to students of all ages. Online lessons are also available. Music exams are important because they ensure students learn progressively. However, learning music is not only about practising for the next certificate. The vision of the academy is to instil the love of music in students that lasts a lifetime. To achieve this, we emphasise on sharing good music, hence student recitals are held regularly at the academy. Those with notable efforts will be encouraged to perform in public concerts, whereby it is also the aim of the academy to promote western instrumental music to the local community and to cultivate a music-loving society. Music makes our life more vibrant, so join us and develop a life-long passion for music!

🎉 Congratulations to Chin Jia Fu! 🥉🎻

We are incredibly proud to announce that our student Chin Jia Fu has won 3rd Prize in the Euroasia Youth Music Festival Competition 2025 Grand Finals in Sunway University, Kuala Lumpur!

His dedication, hard work, and musical growth have truly shone through in this achievement. 🌟

A heartfelt thank you goes to his mother, who graciously stepped in as his piano accompanist for the competition — such a beautiful example of family support in a young musician’s journey. ❤️

As for me, I was honoured to serve as a judge at the Music Singapore 2025 Competition in Penang during the same period — hence my absence at Euroasia.

Let’s all celebrate Jia Fu’s success and look forward to more milestones ahead! 🎶👏
