本会很荣幸受邀为北方大学第38届 Pesta Konvokesyen — Gema Seni dan Kaligrafi 开幕仪式进行表演！🔥

同时，现场亦有北方大学中华文化与艺术学会（KKKC）带来的【书法艺术展位】，让大家在观赏舞狮的震撼之余，也能感受挥毫泼墨的文化韵味，一同体验中华艺术之美。

Our club is honored to be invited to perform at the opening ceremony of the 38th Pesta Konvokesyen — Gema Seni dan Kaligrafi! 🔥

At the same time, the Chinese Cultural and Arts Society (KKKC) will also be present, showcasing calligraphy art. While enjoying the spectacular lion dance, attendees can also experience the cultural charm of calligraphy and appreciate the beauty of Chinese art.

一轮明月寄相思，桂花香里话团圆。值此中秋佳节在这花好月圆的日子里，北方大学龙狮体育会愿远在校园的你们与家人心意相连，纵使相隔千里，也能共赏一轮明月。中秋节，又称仲秋节、月圆节，是中华文化中极具代表性的传统节日，流传至今已有上千年历史。中秋节定于农历八月十五，此时正值秋季的中期，也是月亮最圆、最明亮的一天，象征着团圆、美满与丰收。

据史书记载，中秋节起源于上古时代的祭月习俗。古人通过祭拜月亮，祈求丰收与幸福。到了唐朝，中秋赏月成为风雅之事；宋代时，民间普遍开始“拜月”与“吃月饼”，中秋节逐渐成为一个固定的节日，并在明清时期盛行全国，演变成今天的节日盛况。中秋节的传统习俗包括赏月、吃月饼、提灯笼、拜月、放天灯等，民间还流传着嫦娥奔月、玉兔捣药等美丽的传说。

On this day of full moon and beautiful flowers, UUM Acrobatic Dragon and Lion Dance Group hopes that you who are far away from the campus can be connected with your family, even if you are thousands of miles apart, you can enjoy the bright moon together. Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as Zhongqiu Festival and Full Moon Festival, is a very representative traditional festival in Chinese culture, which has been passed down for thousands of years. Mid-Autumn Festival is scheduled for the 15th day of the eighth lunar month, which is the middle of autumn and the day when the moon is the roundest and brightest, symbolizing reunion, happiness and harvest.

Mid-Autumn Festival originated from the ancient custom of worshiping the moon. The ancients prayed for a good harvest and happiness by worshiping the moon. In the Tang Dynasty, admiring the moon during the Mid-Autumn Festival became an elegant thing; in the Song Dynasty, people generally began to "worship the moon" and "eat moon cakes". Mid-Autumn Festival gradually became a fixed festival, and it became popular throughout the country during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and evolved into today's festival. The traditional customs of the Mid-Autumn Festival include appreciating the moon, eating moon cakes, carrying lanterns, worshiping the moon, and releasing sky lanterns. There are also beautiful legends circulating among the people such as Chang'e flying to the moon and Jade Rabbit pounding medicine.

一年前，我们从零开始，一步一步脚踏实地打造了属于我们的龙狮团队。特别感谢北大龙狮体育会的创始人，还有第一届的最高筹委会们，谢谢你们在一无所有的社团中贡献了无数的金钱，精神和汗水，才得以创造出别出一格的社团。

从第一次训练的青涩，到第一次演出的紧张；从每一次汗水淋漓的练习，到一起大笑打闹的日常，这一切都已经成为了我们最宝贵的回忆~。

在这一年里，我们经历了无数挑战，但也收获了无数感动。
感恩每一位成员的热血与坚持，感恩幕后默默支持的每一个人，是你们的付出与陪伴，让这个家不断成长、变得更加坚强💪❤

One year ago, we started from scratch, step by step building our very own dragon and lion dance team. Special thanks to the founders of UUM Acrobatic Dragon and Lion Dance Group as well as the very first Management Team. Thank you for contributing countless amounts of money, effort, and spirit to a society that start from nothing, making it possible to create such a unique and extraordinary association.

From the nervousness of our very first training and first performance, to the sweat-soaked practices and the laughter-filled moments we shared,
these have all become our most precious memories.

In this year, we faced countless challenges, but we also gained countless heartfelt moments. We are grateful for every member’s passion and perseverance, and to everyone who silently supported us behind the scenes.
It is your effort and companionship that allowed this family to grow stronger and stronger. 💪❤

This year, we were not just performing dragon and lion dance together, but also growing, striving, and creating our own story side by side.

🌟 One year is not the end, but a new beginning.
In the days ahead, let us continue to work hand in hand, to carry forward the spirit of dragon and lion dance, and to spread Chinese culture far and wide! 🔥
