Celebration come on! 🎉 Today’s meeting theme was CELEBRATE, and what a perfect theme it was! 🎉

Todays meeting was filled with learning, laughter, and speaking excellence! In line with the theme, we also gathered to celebrate our members achievements. From members advancing to Division Level competitions to bringing home the District Pidato Championship title 🥇, Bintulu Speakers Club continues to shine proudly on bigger stages.

Today’s meeting reminded us that Toastmasters is more than just speeches, it is a platform where confidence grows, friendships strengthen, and achievements are celebrated together as one supportive community.

Competing against the finest speakers from across the region, Hiew’s mastery of the Malay language and powerful delivery captured the hearts of the judges and the audience alike. This victory isn't just a win for Hiew, it's a testament to the growth and talent thriving right here at Bintulu Speakers Club.

Today, 9 May 2026, the Bintulu Speakers Club is honored to have three of our esteemed members serve as judges for the 2026 JCI Malaysia Area Sarawak Convention!

Our members took the stage today, not as speakers this time, but as judges for the Pidato and English Public Speaking competitions. We are incredibly proud to collaborate with JCI Malaysia Area Sarawak JCI Malaysia , a global platform that empowers active citizens to create positive change.

Congratulations to all competitors and to more growth and community collaboration! 🚀

Our March 2026 Membership Building session was a "strike!". On 29 March 2026, BSC members gathered at Megalanes Bintulu for a Sunday afternoon that was equal parts productive and playful.

We kicked things off at Moss Coffee to discuss our upcoming club plans before heading to the lanes to show off our (very diverse) bowling skills.

A huge thanks to the crew for bringing the energy and the sporty vibes! Whether it was a "cuci longkang" or a strike, the real win was the great conversation and team spirit.

What a weekend! On 28 March 2026, our members traveled all the way to Miri for the Toastmasters 2026 Area D5 Contest.

On 20 September 2025, Toastmasters from Bintulu Speakers Club were honored to be invited by the Lions Club to facilitate a session at SM Kai Dee during the 11th Bintulu Lions Youth Camp 2025.

👏 We had the privilege of engaging with about 150 enthusiastic students from various secondary schools in Bintulu.

Our very own DTM Lisa inspired the participants with her motivational speech 💬✨ Sharing skills, confidence, and stories to spark the students’ journey in effective communication.

This event was also a wonderful opportunity to promote Toastmasters Bintulu Speakers Club, showing how Toastmasters can empower anyone to grow as a speaker and leader. 💪
