🌟舞台上的你，闪闪发亮✨ 两年一度的麥芽堂年度成果发表会圆满落幕了。翻看照片，那些难忘的瞬间依旧让人心里暖暖的❤️‍🔥 今年共有 130位学生参与演出，年龄从 5岁到60岁，幕前幕后的工作人员 20位。从筹备、编舞、指导到舞台布景等等，每个细节都是花了整整两个多月用心准备的成果。

孩子们的每一步成长，离不开家长们的陪伴与支持。感谢每一位家长耐心接送，也感谢你们的信任与支持，让孩子们能够在舞台上勇敢，自信，优雅地跳舞。这场成果发表会也是孩子们发现自我、发掘潜能、慢慢绽放光彩的机会✨ 谢谢每一位小朋友的付出与努力，也感谢老师与家长一路的相伴。希望大家都能在自己的热爱里，闪闪发亮💃

🌟 Every moment on stage was a beautiful shine ✨Our biennial Little Bloom Student Showcase 2025 has successfully concluded. As we revisit these photos, the memories feel just as warm and meaningful as they did on that day ❤️‍🔥This year’s showcase brought together 130 performers, ranging from 5 to 60 years old, supported by a dedicated team of 20 crew members behind the scenes. Over the course of two months, countless hours were spent on planning, choreography, teaching, and stage preparation 🩰 All coming together for this special moment.

Behind every confident step on stage is the quiet support of parents. Thank you for your trust, your encouragement, and your commitment in accompanying your children throughout this journey. Your support allows them to step forward with confidence, express themselves freely, and grow through dance.🎀 The showcase is not just a performance, but a meaningful experience where students learn more about themselves, discover their potential, and slowly bloom in their own way ✨

🌟 2025年8月份经验与收获 | 27th CSTD Asia Pacific Dance Competition

回望今年8月，我们麥芽堂带着三位优秀的学生 —— Emily、Kara 和 Sarah，飞往新加坡，首次踏上第27届CSTD亚太区舞蹈大赛的国际舞台 🩰

从今年5月「CSTD首届区域赛 (东马与印尼) Born to Perform」一路晋级至亚太区比赛，孩子们所付出的努力与汗水，都闪耀在了这个高水平的舞台上 ✨

此次学生们参与的比赛项目包括：

- Emily Goh Siew Qin & Kara Yek Joo Ee: Demi-Character Solo (9 & Under)
- Sarah Tan En Ling: Contemporary Solo (Open Age)

虽然最终未能抱奖而归，但这次宝贵的经验，让孩子们与老师们都眼界大开。能够与来自亚太各地的优秀舞者同台竞技，近距离感受国际赛事的氛围，这本身就是最珍贵的成长历程 💖

🌟 August 2025 Experience & Learnings | 27th CSTD Asia Pacific Dance Competition

Looking back at August, we have brought three of our students — Emily, Kara, and Sarah — to Singapore to make their debut on the international stage at the 27th CSTD Asia Pacific Dance Competition 🩰

After qualifying from the "CSTD Inaugural Regional Competition (East Malaysia & Indonesia) Born to Perform" in May, the hard work and dedication our students put in truly shone on the stage ✨

What our students participated in:

- Emily Goh Siew Qin & Kara Yek Joo Ee: Demi-Character Solo (9 & Under)
- Sarah Tan En Ling: Contemporary Solo (Open Age)

Although we did not bring home any awards in the end, this valuable experience broadened the horizons of both the students and their teachers. To be able to compete with excellent dancers from all over the Asia Pacific region and experience the atmosphere of an international competition firsthand is a truly precious journey for growth 💖

The Pilates workshop and postural analysis took place last week with our old friend 🥰

｜Celebrating August · The 5th Malaysia Chinese Dance Competition

麥芽堂的老师与学生们在今年8月，首次携手参与了在民都鲁作新考点的【第五届马来西亚中国舞大赛】，迎来了佳绩！此次比赛汇聚了来自古晋、西连、美里、民都鲁、山打根、吉隆坡、芙蓉、马口，甚至香港与新加坡的优秀舞者，年龄层更横跨 9 至 60 岁，对我们来说是个突破自我及开拓眼界的宝贵经验 ✨

💛 感谢每一位孩子的努力，也谢谢家长们一路以来的信任与支持！期许麦芽堂能继续为学生们打开更多梦想的舞台，深根本土，走向国际 🌱

This August marks a proud milestone for us — for the first time, Little Bloom’s teachers took part in the 5th Malaysia Chinese Dance Competition (Bintulu’s new examination point), and we came home with great results!

The competition gathered talented dancers from Kuching, Serian, Miri, Bintulu, Sandakan, Kuala Lumpur, Seremban, Bahau, and even as far as Hong Kong and Singapore. With participants ranging from 9 to 60 years old, this was truly a precious opportunity for us to break through our limits and broaden our horizons ✨

💛We are deeply proud of every student’s effort, and truly grateful for the trust and support of all parents. May Little Bloom continue to open more stages of dreams, rooted in our local community while reaching out to the world 🌱

🇭🇰 麥芽堂首次参与《舞在蓝天》国际舞蹈汇演 ✨

在七月初，麥芽堂三位老师与两位学生代表马来西亚飞往香港，参与由碧华舞蹈团主办的《舞在蓝天》国际舞蹈汇演。

这场为期两天的演出，汇聚了来自香港、澳门、台湾、中国、韩国、印度、新加坡、菲律宾等地的舞蹈团体。我们很荣幸能与各国舞者同台交流、共同展演，彼此以舞会友、跨越语言边界。

此次我们呈现了由 Valerie老师编创 的三部作品：
🔹 《也许不要飞翔》
🔹 《丛林的回响》
🔹 《Si Timang》

每一支舞蹈作品都承载了情感、文化与故事，透过身体与节奏，传递对舞蹈的热爱与思量。在国际舞台的交流中，我们不仅演绎了作品，也拓展了视野。

多元文化的碰撞，让我们学会更包容地去理解他人，也更坚定地走在自己的舞蹈之路上。

愿这一次的“起飞”，是未来更多美好舞程的起点 💫

🇭🇰 Blue Sky Through My Eyes International Dance Gala 2025 ✨

In early July, three teachers and two student representatives from Little Bloom proudly flew from Malaysia to Hong Kong to participate in the “Blue Sky Through My Eyes International Dance Gala 2025”, hosted by the Alan & Becky Dance Group.

This 2-days event brought together dance groups from Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, China, South Korea, India, Singapore, and the Philippines. It was a meaningful opportunity for cultural exchange, artistic sharing, and celebrating the universal language of dance.

We showcased three original pieces choreographed by Ms. Valerie:
🔹 “Perhaps, Don’t Fly”
🔹 “Echoes of the Jungle”
🔹 “Si Timang”

Each piece carried stories, emotions, and cultural threads — expressed through the movement of our bodies and the rhythm of our hearts.
Performing on an international stage allowed us to widen our perspective and embrace diversity.

Through this cross-cultural experience, we learned to be more open, more understanding, and more confident in expressing who we are through dance.

May this first “takeoff” be the beginning of many beautiful journeys to come 💫

5月12日带着15位学生踏上「CSTD首届区域赛（东马 & 印尼）Born to Perform」的舞台，闪闪发亮的孩子们在舞台上大放异彩，收获满满佳绩与掌声 👏

We are proud to share that 15 of our students participated in the CSTD Inaugural Regional Competition – “Born to Perform”, held on 12th May 2025, representing East Malaysia and Indonesia. Our dancers showcased their talent with grace, passion, and discipline — and achieved outstanding results! 👏
