Activity : Gross Motor Skills (Jumping & Throwing)

Gross motor skills are important to enable children to perform every day functions, such as walking and running, playground skills and sporting skills. However, these are crucial for everyday self care skills like dressing (where you need to be able to stand on one leg to put your leg into a pant leg without falling over) and climbing into and out of a car or even getting into and out of bed.

Science Camp - Wonders of the Ocean
Day 1 & 2

We made:
- a paddle boat
- coral fish
- a fishing rod
- a trash gripper (let's clean our ocean)

K2 Art & Craft lesson 🎨🖌️: Creative learning through story
We read the story of "The Rainbow Fish" by Marcus Pfister and then the children made their own Rainbow Fish 🐠 🐟 using their own creativity.

Exposure helps students develop critical thinking skills that will be useful in their future careers and personal lives. Exposure allows students to take risks and see what happens when they do something new or different. It can help to build self-confidence so that they are more likely to try new things in the future.

Our Wise Junios Preschoolers (age 4-6) performed yesterday at SPICE Arena (TLM Baby Expo). They really enjoyed their time there and they had fun performing. ❤️

Music ignites all areas of child development and skills for school readiness, including intellectual, social-emotional, motor, language, and overall literacy. It helps the body and the mind work together. Exposing children to music during early development helps them learn the sounds and meanings of words.
