USAINS Healthcare Honoured to Attend ADVANCE-ID Singapore Delegation Visit to Hospital Pakar USM

Kubang Kerian, 29 July 2026 – USAINS Healthcare was honoured to be invited to attend the official visit of the ADVANCE-ID, National University of Singapore (NUS) delegation to Hospital Pakar Universiti Sains Malaysia (HPUSM). The visit was held in conjunction with discussions on the implementation of the Optimising TREATment for Severe Gram-Negative Bacterial Infections (TREAT-GNB) clinical trial.

The ADVANCE-ID delegation was welcomed by Professor Dr. Mohd Imran Bin Yusof, Deputy Director of Operations, Hospital Pakar USM, representing the Director of Hospital Pakar USM. The event was also attended by Associate Professor Dr. Mohd Zulfakar, who serves as the Principal Investigator (PI), representatives from the Department of Medicine, Department of Medical Microbiology, Clinical Trial Unit, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Research Pharmacy Unit, as well as USAINS Healthcare as a strategic partner in the clinical trial initiative.

The visit served as a platform to discuss the progress of the TREAT-GNB study, including patient screening and recruitment processes, while providing the delegation with an opportunity to tour the hospital's research facilities and clinical services that support the implementation of international clinical trials. The ADVANCE-ID delegation was led by Dr. Mo Yin, Co-Director of ADVANCE-ID, accompanied by Dr. Abi Manesh, Visiting Associate Professor, Ms. Ong May Gee, Project Manager for TREAT-GNB, and Ms. Nur Kalimah Husna Binte Mohamed Nazri, Study Monitor of ADVANCE-ID.

As a strategic partner in this collaboration, USAINS Healthcare plays a key role in facilitating and coordinating the overall implementation of the clinical trial partnership. Through this collaboration, USAINS Healthcare remains committed to expanding international research collaborations, enhancing Malaysia's clinical research capabilities, and supporting the development of evidence-based treatments that benefit patients and the wider medical community.

During the visit, the delegation toured the Clinical Trial Unit, Medical Microbiology Laboratory, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), relevant hospital wards, and the Research Pharmacy Unit, gaining first-hand insight into Hospital Pakar USM's readiness and capabilities in conducting internationally recognised clinical research.

The visit reflects the shared commitment of Hospital Pakar USM and USAINS Healthcare to strengthening global research collaborations and further establishing Hospital Pakar USM as a regional centre of excellence in clinical trials and medical research.

Usains Healthcare Jayakan Sesi Taklimat Kesihatan Bersama Warga Tabung Haji Negeri Kelantan

Kota Bharu | 27 Julai 2026 - Usains Healthcare berbesar hati menerima jemputan daripada Tabung Haji Negeri Kelantan untuk menyampaikan sesi taklimat kesihatan bertajuk "Kenali Tahap Kesihatan Anda" kepada warga Tabung Haji.

Sesi ceramah telah disampaikan oleh Dr. Aida Maziha, Doktor Pakar Perubatan Keluarga, Hospital Pakar USM, yang berkongsi kepentingan mengenali tahap kesihatan diri, pengesanan awal faktor risiko penyakit serta amalan gaya hidup sihat bagi meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan mencegah penyakit kronik.

Program yang berlangsung secara hibrid ini merupakan sebahagian daripada usaha memperkasakan kesedaran kesihatan dalam kalangan warga Tabung Haji melalui perkongsian ilmu daripada pakar perubatan.

Usains Healthcare komited untuk terus menyokong pelbagai inisiatif promosi kesihatan dan pendidikan masyarakat melalui ceramah, latihan serta program kesejahteraan korporat.

Kota Bharu, 16 July 2026 - Usains Healthcare was honoured to be invited for a visit to the newly established Sunway Fertility Centre at Lembah Sireh, Kota Bharu.

The visit was attended by the Usains Healthcare team, together with representatives from the Obstetrics & Gynaecology (O&G) and Anaesthesiology specialist teams. It provided an excellent opportunity to gain insights into the centre's facilities and services while strengthening professional ties between both organisations.

The engagement also served as a platform to explore potential areas of collaboration aimed at enhancing patient care and expanding access to quality reproductive healthcare services.

Usains Healthcare extends its sincere appreciation to Sunway Fertility Centre for the warm hospitality and kind invitation. We look forward to building a strong and mutually beneficial partnership in the future.

USAINS Group was honoured to participate in a virtual knowledge-sharing session with Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT).

During the session, we shared our experience, strategies, and best practices in the commercialisation of university laboratories and research facilities through USAINS Biomics Laboratory Testing Services Sdn. Bhd., as well as our expertise in the effective management of university properties and infrastructure.

It was a meaningful exchange of insights that reflects our shared commitment to fostering collaboration, driving innovation, and strengthening knowledge-sharing across Malaysia’s higher education ecosystem.
