Saya adalah seorang pensyarah di sebuah universiti swasta dan pelajar saya berbilang kaum, tiada seorang pun Melayu (setakat ini). We eat together, gossip together, without issues.
My students are very considerate about where our ‘tempat makan²’ and will ask us first if the places are non halal friendly.
I always believe in this, as muslims we must show decent akhlaq (good characters) and its not always necessarily to be expressed through clothing/dresses.
Yet, nobody is perfect.
As an educator, it’s my duty to educate thus I vow to always implement this harmonious and unity in my lectures 🇲🇾
